Exceptional service from all staff. I will be back because of this reason.

I was not particularly satisfied with this stay. As soon as I opened the room door, there was a noticeable musty smell, and small moths flew right towards me upon entering. The cleanliness and room ventilation clearly need improvement.

Really enjoyed staying at the Pullman Shanghai - the rooms are new, big, and clean. Food at breakfast and in room-service is also great

I wrote to the Pullman Shanghai about a day before my arrival, advising them that my plane lands at 6am and my flight leaves at 4pm the next day. They did their best to accomodate me for a super early check in and a late check out to match almost flawlessly with my flight schedule. The room itself was spacious, clean and quiet. With excellent water pressure in the shower. The lounge on the 24th floor was a quiet, peaceful refuge from the bustling street outside the hotel and served finger foods/snacks and drinks throughout the day. Nothing too over the top, but a welcomed amenity nonetheless. I've stayed at several Accor properties in Shanghai, and can safely say that the breakfast here is better than most. With a wide variety of cuisine to satiate every appetite.

I had a fantastic stay at Pullman Shanghai Central. Special thanks go to Edward at the front desk, who kindly upgraded my booking to a suite upon check‑in. The suite is spacious with large windows offering stunning city views. Check‑in process was smooth and Edward delivered thoughtful, professional service throughout. The room layout is comfortable and well‑maintained, and the panoramic outlook made my stay far more pleasant. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Our room itself was pleasant, however, the breakfast service was extremely poorly managed. For such a large, well‑known hotel brand, I was surprised to see the noodle cooking station run with no proper number‑calling system at all. The young member of staff working there appeared completely unengaged with her job. As premium members, we also paid full price for an extra guest’s breakfast. Even after waiting 15 minutes, the member of staff had still not prepared our noodle order. With long queues of customers, she told guests to remember their own order numbers without handing out any number cards. She never called out the numbers afterwards, leaving everyone to chase her up themselves. I went back to check on my order three separate times, only to be told each time that it was not ready. After 15 minutes of waiting, she claimed she could not find my order because she had too many requests, and simply started preparing another customer’s meal instead. The overall quality of the food was well below average. After this frustrating experience, I did not return for breakfast for the rest of our stay. I hope the hotel will improve its organisation and staff training for the breakfast service in future.

Overall location ok, outdated hotel and low quality breakfast, especially staffs not really active, many staffs during breakfast spend their time on their phone, need to ask many times to clean up table or get something

Nice hotel

Comfortable stay overall. Fast and efficient check-in at around 2:00 a.m. Room upgrade was appreciated. Room was well maintained and comfortable. Some waiting time at reception; concierge service also appeared to be limited. Executive Lounge food selection was below expectations, especially compared with the same standard of hotels

Good conditions, strategic location

Steven from the front desk has been very helpful with my stay changes, I've requested change from two single beds to one King Bed and he manage to get everything sorted early morning next day. Made my stay experience feel like home. The concierge team has provided great support in moving my luggages too. And the house cleaning guy did a fantastic job within short span of time, which is amazing to see while I had the opportunity to. It goes to show all staff in this hotel is very much dedicated to provide personalize service to their guests. This is not my first stay and I will come back for more.
