A very decent airport hotel. The “Superior King” rooms aren’t superior, they are basic but I didn’t mind that too much. The quality was good and the staff were very friendly. I was late and knackered so I ordered room service which was good. The centre of Auckland is a mess at the moment so this makes a sensible alternative. And for transit stopovers it’s excellent.

Easy walk from terminal, quick check-in, friendly staff, amenities could have been better (one was soggy) view of airport runway was pretty nice, bed was super comfy.
