I prepaid my room but I have to pay the city tax when I check in. I checked in late and there is no front desk available. I have to use the kiosk to check-in. The hotel gave me details and I was comfortable with the details given. However, when I try to check-in with the kiosk and have to pay the city tax, the machine keeps asking for my credit card PIN. Most of the credit cards from Asia do not have a PIN. As a result, I was unable to complete the check-in simply because I was unable to pay the city tax using my credit card. I was lucky that a member in my group is from UK and he is able to help with his credit card. Otherwise, I would be stuck. I booked through the accor website, I don't understand why the city tax can't be included as part of the payment upon booking? If it does, we wouldn't have such problem.

The room was very small and the towels, duvets were not very clean and did not smell fresh. We could not close the door to the shower and need to ask for extra cussions. The floor was not clean.

Very good person on reception when we arrived. Massive car park that was gated. Room as expected from an Ibis budget, everything needed in a compact room, we were on the road side and very little outside noise, in fact the air con if on, would have covered the little noise there was, air conditioning worked well, we asked for extra pillows and they arrived within minutes. Breakfast was excellent value, lots to choose from and plenty of it. All in all a great Ibis budget hotel.
