I had a fantastic stay at Pullman Shanghai Central. Special thanks go to Edward at the front desk, who kindly upgraded my booking to a suite upon check‑in. The suite is spacious with large windows offering stunning city views. Check‑in process was smooth and Edward delivered thoughtful, professional service throughout. The room layout is comfortable and well‑maintained, and the panoramic outlook made my stay far more pleasant. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Our room itself was pleasant, however, the breakfast service was extremely poorly managed. For such a large, well‑known hotel brand, I was surprised to see the noodle cooking station run with no proper number‑calling system at all. The young member of staff working there appeared completely unengaged with her job. As premium members, we also paid full price for an extra guest’s breakfast. Even after waiting 15 minutes, the member of staff had still not prepared our noodle order. With long queues of customers, she told guests to remember their own order numbers without handing out any number cards. She never called out the numbers afterwards, leaving everyone to chase her up themselves. I went back to check on my order three separate times, only to be told each time that it was not ready. After 15 minutes of waiting, she claimed she could not find my order because she had too many requests, and simply started preparing another customer’s meal instead. The overall quality of the food was well below average. After this frustrating experience, I did not return for breakfast for the rest of our stay. I hope the hotel will improve its organisation and staff training for the breakfast service in future.

Comfortable stay overall. Fast and efficient check-in at around 2:00 a.m. Room upgrade was appreciated. Room was well maintained and comfortable. Some waiting time at reception; concierge service also appeared to be limited. Executive Lounge food selection was below expectations, especially compared with the same standard of hotels

Steven from the front desk has been very helpful with my stay changes, I've requested change from two single beds to one King Bed and he manage to get everything sorted early morning next day. Made my stay experience feel like home. The concierge team has provided great support in moving my luggages too. And the house cleaning guy did a fantastic job within short span of time, which is amazing to see while I had the opportunity to. It goes to show all staff in this hotel is very much dedicated to provide personalize service to their guests. This is not my first stay and I will come back for more.

We had a pleasant stay at Pullman Shanghai Skyway. The reception staff was very helpful and location was central, and the rooms were comfortable. We booked a suite with Club Lounge access, and the lounge itself was cosy and relaxing. However, the selection of snacks and hot food during happy hour was quite limited. Overall, a comfortable stay with room for improvement in the Club Lounge offerings.

Due to the super typhoon, my flight was delayed. Front desk staff Mr Steven who helped with my room arrangement was very caring and nice enough to extend my check out time after knowing my flight would be delayed and reminded me of my safety when going out and told me there is also an umbrella in the room which I could use.

The hotel is close to the subway station, and has the central location but not the headache of heavy traffic. The area is busy and bustling but not touristy or swarmy. The hotel is also within walking distance to the Xuhui Bingjiang Park, which streches miles along the Huangpu river, and has separate walking, biking, and running tracks. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is very good. A shoutout to Ivan at the front desk, who is highly professional and friendly.

I have booked Skyway studio with my 1 suite night upgrade benefit for the night of July 3rd, 2026 in Pullman Central Shanghai. The booked price is 1279.2 RMB, with 1 suite night upgrade used, the remaining to be paid at the hotel is 859.45 RMB, but I have paid 1279.12 RMB upon check out. As I was in a rush to go to the airport to catch the flight, so I didn't find out this issue till today. I have overpaid 419.75 RBM when I check out, which should be the fee suite night upgrade.
