The place is clean and focused on less waste. However, I was cold as I could not change the thermostat above 26 C. There were no extra blanket either when I asked. But she gave me a radiator, and although I use the maximum setting it was not that hot but sufficient to warm me.

Not unreasonably we were not allocated a room until after 2pm. At 2.15pm the room we were allocated was a shambles - unmade bed etc. After not accepting no other rooms were available, yes we got one! 9.30pm that night our room and parts of the hotel lost power, so we were unable to charge our phones, watch TV etc. The receptionist said power would be restored soon. No updates. Power was not restored until after breakfast the next day - almost 12h later not what I call soon, and no apology.

It is a well located hotel but we've never tried the budget one and sadly it wasn't that good. The elevator was working every other day (we've stayed there for a week), the light in the corridor outside our room wasn't working, the shower was literally in the room and there was no privacy at all. toilet was in a small room with a thin board door with no option of locking it. We had to ask for an extra towel as there were only two medium size (one for each person), way too small for shower. We also had to ask for an extra soap as there was only one attached in the shower. Breakfast very poor.. we ended up eating in a store next door. on the positive side the room was clean and personnel nice.
