Trying to make reservations by calling the hotel, as I was in transit. Call was transferred to different departments, one of which seemed to be a different location from Hua Hin. Ended-up booking my reservation online, directly on V Villa website. Made the reservation with my credit card and got on my flight. Once landing in BKK, I got a phone call and several messages from my bank stating that a charge was trying to be made, but did not go through because I forgot to activate my overseas authorization. I immediately called V Villas Hua Hin and was shocked to find out that the reservation was cancelled. Understanding that the payment did not go through, due to a simple oversight, I found it strange that V Villas immediately cancelled the reservation. If I had arrived at the V Villa hotel and all rooms were sold, it would have been a very unfortunate situation. Most hotels where I have stayed around the world, would at least hold the reservation until 6pm. Nevertheless, on the phone call I told the attendant that I wanted to rebook the reservations, and requested that they attempt to charge my credit card again, as the overseas authorization was now activated. I was at the airport getting ready to connect with my transfer, so wanted to ensure the hotel room was confirmed. The Hua Hin V Villa attendant on your property that was helping me on the phone, seems to have gotten distracted by trying to sell me a hotel room in Bangkok. As I was in a rush at the airport, and needed to get off the phone, this guest services transaction was a bit frustrating and disappointing. Once at the hotel, arrival experience was smooth and the customer service was excellent. The ambiance of the Reception Lobby immediately transcends you into peace, calm and relaxation. It was starting to get dark, and the guest attendant escorted us to our room; pleasant walk; beautiful grounds. We stayed in Villa 9 and was impressed with the overall layout of the room. We met our lovely Butler, Sir Catua, who gave a fabulous intro to the property; very professional, great personality; personable, patient, thorough, and pays attention to the details. As mentioned very nice layout of the accommodations, but I was disappointed in the lack of maintenance upkeep of the rooms. The rooms are very dated. Simple upgrades and uplifts will escalate the rooms to 5-star luxury. Fresh paint required throughout; better lighting in all rooms; new millwork required for wardrobes, bedside tables, vanities; new headboard required, preferably something that doesn't trap dust and bugs; drapery to the wardrobe to be replaced; all drapery at windows to be replaced, looks very old and unclean; improved vanity amenity kit required; the seal at the bottom of the doors was not tight, and would easily allow bugs into the room. I did find a big dead bug right at the side of the bed between the bed and the side table; something that housekeeping should have picked-up during the pre-check of the room. There was sexually offensive artwork in the bathroom of the 2nd guest room; artwork should be more abstract to avoid negative impact to the overall guest experience. Bed sheets were not changed for the entire 3 days that I was there, even with a stain on the sheets... I understand and applaud sustainability, but poor hygienic conditions, and soiled sheets are unacceptable, and should have been observed and addressed by Housekeeping. Unfortunately, I did not get to use the spa as the hours of operation did not correspond with my schedule. There was one day that I could squeeze in a manicure and pedicure, but was told that the service was not available because there was change of products used, which was disappointing. Catua did offer to have an outside company come to our room, which was not in good taste for me. I have pre-requisites for hotels everywhere I travel. These pre-requisites have to be met, or I will not book the hotel. Unfortunately, upon check-in I discovered that V Villas does not offer Sauna or Steam Room facilities. I completely missed this when booking the reservations at the last minute, and was very disappointed to learn of the lack of these facilities. I would highly, highly suggest that V Villas take into consideration, at a minimum, the supply of Sauna facilities. Due to the health and wellness protocols required these days, a Sauna is no longer an option, it is a necessity. During our stay the 2nd guest room had a toilet back-up that created a mini flood in the room; the team was excellent at quickly addressing the issue. Overall, a complete makeover and thorough maintenance upgrade required for Villa 9. Not sure how the other villas are, but it seems like Villa 9 may have been out-of-service for a time; and was reinstated for my check-in. The entire staff was cordial and attentive; and it is apparent that customer service is a priority.

This is great, i think staffs and facilities and everything is great, except that at the pool side in villa and public one, it is full of mosquito and flies, super annoying, i suggest the hotel should provide spray for the pool and at each room.

I didnt research a lot about this property but overall was satisfied and would recommend, though the price is higher than a lot of other properties. The beach is particularly beautiful and the fact the place never feels busy. The villas are particularly well appointed with the servicing and inclusions (bose speakers, wine fridge, extra kitchen with full fridge, abundant space)

Stayed 5nites at the resort and really had an amazing chillax time! Butler for the billa is also the housekeeper... n my butler was Am... he without fail would ensure the villa is in tip top condition and always ever helpful n friendly. The time spent was really a "charged batt" time for me... felt refreshed after the stay. Even the staffs at the main restaurant are so accommodating and lovely. They remembered your faves! Keep up the good work!
