We have stayed here for over 30 years usually in room 432, and have seen it go downhill a few years ago but since Covid and the moving of the bar for the second or third time, things have improved again. However the restaurant appears to be permanently closed now which is inconvenient to say the least, and the staff in the bar are having to cope with food instead. This has led to them not being available or as attentive as usual.

Good morning, We thank you for your comment. In fact, the restaurant has closed its doors, and the snack offering at the bar has become more entertaining in response to current demand. We are aware of the problem and will hire an additional person, full-time, starting January 1, 2025 in order to avoid waiting in the future. We look forward to welcoming you very soon. My wife and I are regular visitors to Dieppe and we always stay at this hotel as we feel it meets all our requirements extremely well, staff are very helpful breakfast good quality and meets everyone’s requirements. Since I booked two rooms and wanted to pay some of the bill with points ( as I use Mercure hotels all of the Time when visiting France) it took a long time to sort out my bill when I came to depart. I will continue to use this hotel all the time I visit Dieppe.

The staff here were excellent - they could not have been more helpful with everything from parking arrangements to extra tea bags for early morning tea!
