One of the worst experience with Novotel Juhu Mumbai Hotel staff and the way they handled my case of early check out.. I had informed one of the front desk lady Sanika about the early check out on Friday night as against my scheduled check out on saturday morning. She never informed me that she would need a mail from my travel desk to process this request . on the day on Check out , i was told by her that she can't waive off the tariff of one day as i had not sent any mail to the Hotel reservation and to which i confronted her about not informing me the night before. To my utter disbelief and surprise she blatantly clamed to have informed me about the process , which by the way was a big lie. Suddenly the duty manager pops out of nowhere and assures me that once they receive a mail , they would not charge me an extra day. So i called my travel desk and asked him to send an email to the hotel as advised by the duty manager and the mail was sent to them at 0940 am. I left the hotel for airport and to my surprise i got a call from Kirti this time saying that they have not received any mail from my travel desk. I am sitting on the plane that is about to take off , i still manage to forward the same mail sent to them by my travel desk and i fly off to my destination. When i reach home after few hours , i again receive a call from Kirti saying that they can't waive off the tarriff as it is not their policy and can't be approved. I asked her why was this not told to me when i was at the hotel that morning. To which she responds that we at front desk ca not take this decision and only reservation manager can do that. I requested her to let me speak to the reservation manager and it took me 10 calls to get through to Mr Abid Baig to whom i explained every bit of the story and he assured me that he will look into the matter and call me back. He never called and instead asked one of the front desk guy - Shivam to call me and give me the same old story of policy and approval and stuff. Everyone in the tea had been telling different stories to me and i am surprised that a senior manager like Mr Abid Baig didn't have the courtesy to personally call and sort this out after committing a call back to me. I would advise everyone travelling to Mumbai not to book this hotel , no matter what. They are unprofessional , liars and least bothered about client satisfaction. It s not always about food, rooms, or location but about the kind of service that you get and believe me , their is a nightmare.

My booking was for kind bed superior room but at the time of checkin i was told that they don’t have that room available and was given a twin bed room that was absolutely awful. I was told that next day i will be shifted to the room category that i had booked. I was a terrible experience and i will never be booking this hotel again

I like the Novotel brand, and as a frequent traveler whenever I see a Novotel is an option, I happily stay there as I’m assured of a modern, stylish, high quality hotel with excellent service at a reasonable price. Sadly the Novotel Juju Beach is not worthy of the Novotel name. This was one of the worst stays I’ve had anywhere in the world. My supposedly 'Premier' room was far from and shabby at best. There were stains on the carpets, net curtains, walls and sofa, a number of the electrical sockets were loose, the soap dispenser in the bathroom came away from the wall when used and the furniture and fittings looked as if they were third hand. The bed was also the most uncomfortable I’ve ever stayed in, leaving me with a painful back each morning and to top it all off the air con was stuck on one temperature. Then we come to the service throughout the hotel. From reception to the bar to the main restaurant, service was either slow, chaotic or surly and in the case of the bar, all three. Breakfast was generally absolute chaos with guests getting fed up of the long queues and just eating outside, which proved to be a good decision as the staff were so slow to replenish the more popular food choices there was often just a few scant morsels to choose from. This hotel is not worthy of the Novotel name and the management should be ashamed to run it under that brand.

The Hotel very responsive to our need Business Trip for two pwrsons need atwin Toom although fully booked. The alounhe area provide Variety of Food mfor Accir Elite, Lounge service level was Great. The lounge staffs on stanby Kartikey and Sainath very attentive to guests
