I booked for a colleague , she was not satisfied by the quality of service , even though we paid lot of money they were no LOTION,NO SOAP and lot of noise , she couldnt even sleep well. I called the Customer Service and the agent (MALE) i spoken to was very unpolite..

Regardless of reaching the hotel very late the welcome was excellent. The beds are very confortable and breakfast very nice. It was my best Ibis experience. The staff are all very kind and professional. On the internet I read of a free shuttle service being organized by the hotel for guests coming from the airport but then when I called to ask for this service I heard that one needs to book oneself through an agency. It was not a problem for me of course but sometimes on the internet you find old information which is not relevant any more.

My mattress was very soft and hurt my back throughout my stay. I also did not have a fridge in my room while other rooms did. Only one elevator worked and it made movement delayed in the hotel. The breakfast was boring and monotonous. I didn’t like it.

Hotel was good, located nicely. Daily breakfast was also good. I continuously faced problems with dinner as at Hotel Ibis only Pizza & Pasta was available and at Novotel which share common premises, restaurant staff's behavior was ridiculous. They were only interested in catering few European clients. I faced similar problems for a couple of nights and then I left having dinner in Hotel, in stead I preferred to go out for dinner.

Upon arrival and in spite of prior online check-in, there was a long waiting time to get the roomkey. Giving Coke/Sprite/soda as a welcome drink doesn't display much creativity, though effort is appreciated. Overall odor in the seemingly cleaned room was very bad. Breakfast offer rather simple, with cold fried eggs and omlette, insufficiently small dining area. Throughout the 3days stay only one elevator (out of two) was functioning, hence terribly long waiting times to go up and down. Mid-day bar unattended, hence long waiting time to get served at all. The double bed was extremely short: if you're taller than 170cm you'll have your feet floating in the air... On the positive side, fair speed in sending technician to change battery in the broken electronic doorlock. Staff was polite, nice and assisting. Overall, very bad value for money.

I found myself getting locked out the room twice which was due to an electrical problem with the door. The staff explained to me that it was an issue that is frequent. This didn't reassure at all so I requested a room change. The staff did it but the facilities were not great. TV not working properly, shower leaking on the floor.

Reception team very welcoming Room cleanliness fine although the shower cubicle showed signs of age ( mould in joints ). Changing or adding 3 simple things would be great : -provide a free bottle of water each day and not just one at the beginning of the stay ( it is hot in Senegal and having something to drink when getting back to the room would be good ) -allow access to the pool from 7h...please understand that many people staying with you have appointments at 8h30-9h...until 19h...so impossible to use the pool. An early morning swim is great for health and to begin the day... -surely, by sharing with the Novotel, you could provide a gym for the tarif charged... Look forward to seeing some changes during my next stay !

I have stayed at Ibis in a few places and this was my worst experience. The staff, with the exception of one or two, treated me like I was an alien and never saw anything wrong with it. Even at checkout, when I stated that I didn't enjoy my stay, they didn't feel the need to ask why or seek to change my impression for the benefit of the hotel. I think it was very unprofessional of them.

Welcome was warm and friendly, enjoyed the swimming pool and the quality of breakfast, only downside was the strong smell in the room caused by high humidity. Understand though that I stayed in the middle of the rainy season...
