Hi, Big differences in quality of staff (especially at the reception). For example, we arrived late on a sunday evening and we had to wait 1,5 hour for a bed for our 6 month old child that was crying. The hotel knew before that we were coming with a child. Bathrooms were quite old and not to the standard of a 5 star hotel. Kind regards, Cedric H.

I was staying in room 413, at this very moment there are some renovating works which make a lot of noice, and I was located just next to them. It would be nice to be informed about this up front! As I had to rest before my departure , this was impossible due to the noice they were making. Luckily I could rest in another room of friends staying in room212( one of the renovated rooms next to the reception) which was very nice. Keep Alou, he is a very nice coach at the fitness!

This hotel has one of our favourite beaches, restaurants and chefs, as well as a great child-friendly pool and the biggest palm trees in Senegal. There have been some great additions recently like the beach bar and games. The children's centre and babysitters are just wonderful. It is sad to see that some of the old problems still need to be fixed as they spoil the overall experience. The quality of service and staff is the main issue at the reception, room and pool areas. Everyone is smiling but brace yourself, the check-in process takes an unbelievable amount of time and can be painful, you can sit and wait for a room at reception forever, getting anything fixed in the room takes a really long time despite assurances that someone will be there "shortly" (count 30+ minutes at least) and there is supposed to be a pool staff that is hard to find, making the hotel lose business on drinks and further spoiling the experience. Given the price tag, the quality of service needs to improve to match the number of stars.
