This was by far the worst stay I have ever experienced. The service was consistently poor, and the staff showed a lack of professionalism throughout my stay. I suffered insect bites in my room, the food quality was disappointing, and my dietary requests were repeatedly ignored. Even though I specifically asked for no chili, it was regularly added to my meals. I was disturbed thrice in my room because staff had mistaken me for another guest. The laundry service was unreliable, did not answer calls, and failed to return my clothes on time. The cleaning staff touched my personal items without permission, forcing me to discard some products for safety reasons. The housekeeper's attitude was arrogant and unhelpful. To make matters worse, I was asked to pay for charges that had already been settled. Maintenance work created excessive noise on a Sunday afternoon, and reception failed to properly record or address my complaints. Overall, the hotel failed to meet even basic service standards. I would not return and cannot recommend it to others.

These are fundamental aspects of our service, and we are reinforcing our procedures and team awareness to avoid similar situations in the future. I stayed at Novotel Dakar for two days and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of delicious food every morning. I would also like to thank a member of staff called Awa. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Her excellent customer service made me feel valued and added to my positive experience.
