The hotel is completely DISHONEST

Upon check in the hotel charged 100 EUR as a deposit against expenses, promising to refund it upon check out. I did not incur any expense, in addition to the room, which was charged separately. At check-out, I was told that the charge was refunded but it was not. A few days later I noticed that the charge was not refunded. After nearly 2 months, despite countless emails, the hotel has NOT refunded the charge, despite admitting that it should be refunded. The only word that I can find for such behavior is fraud. Novotel Dakar seriously damages the brand name of Novotel and Accor.

needs renovation

I have been staying in Novotel Dakar since 2016. It is my preffered place to stay due to its location, service and good staff. But, over the last few years the rates have increased without any visible improvement in the hotel services. During my current stay I observed that airconditioning needs overhaul. Even though my room was changed but AC was not functional in the new room either. Rooms furniture, bathrooms, mattresses need improvement with regard to type of room rent currently.
