Our booking through Accor wasn’t recognised in the hotel system so we had a wait of twenty minutes. Ended up in a slightly different room than what we had booked. Also it very noisy at night being on level four directly under the pool area with people running around.

We understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly after booking through the Accor ALL App, and we regret that this impacted your check-in experience. We are also sorry that the room allocated was not the exact type you had reserved and for the disturbance caused by noise from the pool area above. In addition, the musty odour you experienced is certainly not the standard we aim to provide and will be followed up with our housekeeping and maintenance teams. We do appreciate your positive comments regarding our team and your overall stay, and we are grateful for your loyalty as a member. Thank you again for your valuable feedback.

The iron, which was not in a working condition. Obviously, dropped multiple times and the surface was crooked

We are very sorry to hear about the damage to your dress and the issues with the iron during your stay. This is certainly not the experience we want our guests to have, and we understand how frustrating this must have been. We checked out today after two night at the Rockford. We were pretty happy with our accomodation, and enjoyed the pool area, both husband and I having a swim, as the weather was hot. And it was good to sit up at the pool area and cool off. It was our favourite feature of the Hotel. The breakfast was enjoyable, I was a little disappointed there was no bircher muesli that many Novotel Hotels feature. We also ate in the restaurant. Our stay was spoiled by an incident that happened in our room, (Room 418), on Friday night. My husband touched the bathroom tap to turn it on and received a sharp electric shock. Not a static shock, but a true electric shock. Right then the power 'blew off' as the safety switch kicked in. Thank goodness for the safety switch as otherwise I think it would have had a terrible outcome. We did have the electric jug plugged in on the vanity bench, away from the basin for safety. I had boiled the jug a few minutes earlier. There was not water on the bench, but we had just been swimming and there was a little water on the floor. We contacted reception immediately as we were very concerned, but I don't think the person at the desk really understood our concerns. This morning as we left we mentioned it again to another person at the reception desk who noted our concern. I truly hope the room is investigated immediately, especially the elected jug. I would hate someone else, especially a child to be shocked. We think maybe the jug is faulty and dangerous. Hope you check this out, we were left shaken. Kind regards, Linda E.

We got in late on Friday night due to delayed flight. When we got the hotel, doors were locked, had to wait for receptionist it notice us as she was on the phone. Walked between the ramp door and the main doors. My partner is a member of Accor and we had a letter welcoming us and said there was a welcome drink as part of his membership. When he asked at the bar, the girls said he wasn’t ent to led to this as he was not at that level. The next night we dined in the restaurant as we were too tired and tried to get the drink and the girl said the same thing. He showed her the app on his phone etc to prove his membership. We didn’t bother asking for it again. Disappointing. We really shouldn’t have got that letter then.
