I wanted to share some honest feedback following my recent stay at your property. I booked this hotel myself and also recommended it to a large group of friends travelling with me. Unfortunately, I regret doing so. From a professional standpoint, as someone who owns a hotel. I found several aspects of the experience disappointing and not in line with what I would expect from a 4-star product. To begin on a positive note, the room was clean and the bathroom was of a good size. However, beyond this, the overall room design felt overly engineered and impractical. The layout and angles are unusual, and the excessive cupboards and storage felt unnecessary rather than functional. The airplane-style toilet was particularly uncomfortable and poorly ventilated. Additionally, details such as an exposed curtain rail with missing curtains detracted from the overall finish, which did not reflect a 4-star standard. I was also surprised to see the “ibis budget” branding upon arrival. In my view, this is a distinctly different offering to a Novotel Suites 4-star positioning, and I do feel the online presentation is somewhat misleading in this regard. Operationally, there were several recurring issues. My keycard consistently failed to work on the first attempt, requiring multiple reissues. Even housekeeping staff had difficulty accessing the room. Service standards were also inconsistent. At one point, I called reception to request an iron and was informed I would need to collect it myself. Having just stepped out of the shower and needing to prepare for an engagement, I asked whether it could be delivered to the room. This request was declined, and when I queried whether this aligned with a 4-star service level, the call was ended abruptly. This was particularly disappointing, especially given the ample unused storage space within the room that could easily accommodate basic amenities such as an iron. There were also maintenance works taking place during my stay. When I raised concerns about the noise and the lack of prior notice, the response I received was dismissive rather than reassuring. A simple acknowledgement and apology would have gone a long way. The atmosphere in the public areas was another serious concern. The dining area remained unlit during the day, with no music or ambience, which created an unwelcoming environment and discouraged use of the space. This is not in keeping with the expectations of a 4-star hotel experience. Attention to detail also appeared lacking. For example, an empty drinks (Sprite) can remained in the lobby for several hours, despite being clearly visible to multiple staff members at reception. This became an ongoing joke in our party. Finally, I was disappointed by the pricing inconsistency. I was charged €540 for a single occupancy stay, while friends in my group paid €450 for triple occupancy rooms booked at a later date. I would typically expect rates to increase closer to arrival, rather than decrease. In summary, while the cleanliness and location were acceptable, the overall experience fell significantly short of expectations. Given that I had recommended your property to others, and brought 6 rooms to your hotel this was particularly frustrating. Passing competing hotels during my stay only reinforced a sense that an alternative would have provided a better experience. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as it is intended.

Lovely staff and good location Not a suite hotel as suggested - just large oddly shaped rooms Terrible toilet no hot water Room far too hot and cannot adjust air con only switch it off but sun warms it up all day. Leave windows open a crack and far too noisy Can’t shut curtains properly to block out the light 2 terrible English tv channels on a tv you can’t see or hear Breakfast in an awful space in reception Definitely not a 4 star hotel
