A Bit Outdated But Clean and Centrally Located

This IBIS is very basic and outdated but it works. The rooms were nicer than the outdated hallways. Nevertheless it worked just fine. I arrived before noon and they let me check in and access my room early which was nice. Room has a hot water kettle, wifi, cable tv and small refrigerator. My room had no view. From this hotel you can walk to all the major attractions and only a 10 minute walk to the Southern Cross Station. Overall a clean room it is just an outdated hotel but works for us on a budget.

When the refurbishment are complete I am sure this will be a great hotel. They certainly need better curtains! The hotel over the road reception lights are ridiculously bright and this hotels curtains are not enough to block out the light. Breakfast was OK. Staff were all friendly. Location is perfect.

Great budget hotel close to trams and Skybus station and train station friendly reception staff would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a cheap nice clean hotel rooms are slightly small but great

Bad room allocated

Probably got the worst room on site. Check in wasn’t that friendly but allowed me to go room early which was a positive. However the small single room was wedged in between the lifts and lifts engine. The constant noise; clunking and banging really affected my sleep and relaxation. This area shouldn’t be a room and re-purposed into something else. For that reason I cannot recommend. If you do stay ask for a room away from lifts. The room itself was ok besides being small with everything you expect.

Waiting for time to pass so I can get out of here

WingsofSunrise Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

If they gave me a room in this motel for free, I wouldn't take it. Beds so hard no sleep and severe pain. Stayed here once before and raised the issue and they couldn't accommodate me so suggested they keep some mattress toppers or fold out bed mattresses in hand. Very obvious this stay that client satisfaction isn't of great concern, as no other options when I raised the issue again. Won't be back and won't recommend.
