Bit tricky to find but worth it; we were well looked after eg re wife's 'Blue Badge' need for parking. The decorations are impressive eg in the block at back of car park. Bar service excellent thanks and a good breakfast (except for fried eggs needing replacement...) Thanks all. Alan B.

I was allocated a very noisy room next to a large extractor fan. The second room I was given on the ground floor was musty/damp smelling. The breakfast was truly awful, Luke warm food and cold coffee from a 'flask', the worst I have ever had.

I usually stay here because there is a car park, but since the last time I stayed you've built an Annex meaning that there are maybe half a dozen spaces available. I was told on arrival that the one space free was booked but that spaces were first come first served, which is conradictory. Way over priced; unlikely I'll ever stay again.

I usually stay here because its one of the few hotels in Oxford that has a car park, However they neglected to tell me that since my last stay they have built an Annex so that there is space for maybe 6 cars only now. Upon arrival I was told that spaces were first come first served, then told that the one space free was booked. Upon leaving I had to wait maybe 15 mins for a staff member to move theri car that was blocking me Unlikely I'll ever stay again.
Dear TimG8420Zo Thank you for your review regarding your recent stay. Unfortunately we did not have the extended car park since June 2019, apologies if this was not communicated to you. Current policy is that we will only reserve spaced for Blue badge holders. Again I apologise for the inconvenience and it is my hope to better serve you in the near future. Kind Regards Bradlee Pillay

I created a problem by not advising the constraints my wife and I faced because of her Alzheimer's and her mobility issues. This issue was most courteously resolved by a room change which allowed us to really enjoy our stay. As on previous visits we enjoyed the food in the restaurant and, again, the staff were exemplary.
