Staff is professional but very hollow on empathy, when they saw us they felt as if we were going to create some workload on them by asking pre check in / water / coffee etc. I expected more softer experience from IBIS

Pathetic experience from arrival to departure. Highly untrained staff at all touch points It’s below basic hotel, Lemon Tree is million times better Front Desk & HK Team is very rude, dirty rooms, worn out carpets along with bad & Bathroom linens, highly run down hotel, hotel doesn’t have steam irons and insists for ironing service to make money, no one bothers to take feedback and find out how guest is feeling during the stay, zero hospitality and empathy. Food in breakfast and dinner is below average, very slow service while the restaurant was almost empty, no professional staff or manager, and staff are stating that due to the LPG issue, the food quality is compromised, but they were serving decent à la carte food. In such cases, rates should be revised, too, when the offering is substandard. Upon request, instead of immediately responding with the solution, the team said no and told me that if I wanted to cancel the reservation, I could do so when I had called prior to arrival to request a king-size room. At check-in, it was only one person, and he was in a rush to get over and didn’t explain anything about the hotel apart from my meal timings, which were included, so I understand the hotel does not have anything. The staff does not have the courtesy to wish the guests when they see them in the lobby or corridors. Pathetic leadership and very poor management of the General Manager and the rest of the so-called team if they have anyone at a senior level. I felt as I was staying in some cheap lodge and strongly recommend everyone not to stay in such a shoddy and run-down hotel where the staff don’t know how to talk. While the washrooms are as small as the aircraft's washrooms of the aircraft and kept in such a dirty way that even basic amenities need to be requested, nothing is pre-placed. The washroom had a bad stench, drains were dirty, glass had water marks, and the washroom had fibre walls that were not of the right quality with cracks, and it has a stainless-steel ledge at the entrance, which can lead to cuts as the washroom is at a height of a step. Government Hospitals and Oyo's nowadays give a better experience. The headboard was dirty, and the super outdated lamps in the room. No luggage assistance is offered and the tap in the common male washroom in the lobby was broken. The hotel will fail miserably in LQA or Mystery Audit, they keep to this level, which depicts only poverty as if hotel is built with some slum material and staff come from the same background.
