My stay at ibis Pune was overall a pleasant and comforting experience. Right from arrival, I received a very warm welcome. As an Accor member, a pre-assigned room was already kept ready for me, along with thoughtful welcome amenities in the room — a nice touch that sets the tone. As clearly mentioned on the official website, ibis is a 3-star business hotel, so the rooms are on the smaller side as per brand standards. However, the smart design makes the room feel spacious. The room was super clean, with fresh linen and towels, which I truly appreciated. That said, the mattress was not very comfortable (manageable, but could be improved), and the TV definitely needs an upgrade. For long-stay guests, storage space for luggage is a bit limited. A special mention for the Housekeeping team — extremely polite, humble, and always eager to help. Ms. Leena deserves appreciation; she was wonderful to interact with. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to see her again to personally thank her. The food was good and tasty, compliments to the chefs and the F&B team. One small concern: the air-conditioning in the restaurant is very strong, and it gets quite cold as soon as it turns on at the table. Special thanks to Mr. Bhushan for accommodating all my special requests during breakfast and dinner, ably supported by Pankaj and Sachin — thank you, Sachin, for the attentive service. There are a few points I’m intentionally not detailing here, but yes, some improvement is required in Housekeeping and F&B. Nothing major — just fine-tuning. The Front Office team was supportive, courteous, and genuinely helpful, always trying their best to accommodate guest requests. Special thanks to Ashraf, Piyush, and Parichiti for their efforts. Suggestion: It would be very helpful to either have a valet service or provide lift access from the parking area, as walking from -2 parking can be quite difficult, especially after a long day.
