I visited Novotel Al Bustan Hotel and I really loved my stay. The room was very clean, and the gym and swimming pool were excellent and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mansari, Lara, and Rimsha. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel looks great but service wise they can do much better. The only place where service was great was at the breakfast place Nea. We were put in a room where the hot wasyer wasn't working. Wasted ab 45 mins with the technician experimenting. He left saying its done. We were tired so went to sleep only to wake the next morning to realise the warm water coming the previous night was also gone after the so called repair. Asked to be moved to a different room. Someone comes to tell us to move to the room across us. I wanted to check it out 1st. As we are doing that I realise the room isn't empty. Someone's luggage is there. Called up the front desk again, totally baffled as to how they have no clue there's a guest in that room. Waited for a while. Then had to ask for the manager. After telling them I want my money back, I get someone at door in a few minutes to escort us to another room. When we have booked in advance how come they don't check rooms before giving it to guests and then shifting is to a room which is occupied? We were 3 in a room for 3 people, yet every day had to ask for towels. Either there was 1 or 2 towels kept. Sometimes they'd take almost an hour and atleast a total of 2 to 3 calls before we got the towels, something which should be placed in the room before hand. Either they are short staffed or some communication gap During our stay not once did any one from the hotel ask about our stay. The breakfast place had a good selection. Can be repetitive but enough for a good breakfast. Have had better variety at other 4 star hotels. This isn't wow or something, but the staff there are warm. Tables are clean immediately. Food replenished. Great service there. If we experienced that from housekeeping n during the rest of our stay it would be great After we had an issue went online to see other reviews with hot water problems. Even the room we finally stayed in had hot water one day, warm the next. This was definitely an issue considering the weather that week

I was really disappointed with my stay because the room was not properly cleaned. Items left by the previous guest were still in the fridge, and the carpet in front of the bathroom was wet. This showed a lack of attention to cleanliness and basic housekeeping standards.

The staff are fantastic! Excellent service, thank you so much. Only one thing made us very, very sad, and that was: We had emailed the hotel a week prior, explaining that we are a micro-influencer family coming to Abu Dhabi to create an online post about Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and asking if we could get a press discount (Nahlass) like we do at other hotels, since we almost always stay at ALL (Novotels), for example, last year in London and Paris.
