Check in and check out bad check I due to staff with a que standing pn reception texting people on personal phone check out one member of staff 2 sitting in the office and a que bar pleasant staff need more choice on menu room needs a bath and sink in toilet to wash hands.

Lovely hotel, quick check in from very nice staff. Our room was lovely, apart from one of the cups had not been washed and was coffee stained. Disappointed considering they are meant to have heightened cleaning at the moment. Breakfast was lovely. Will return to this hotel due to staff and location.

Brilliant stay, reception girls were so polite and couldn’t have been more help. Room was clean and very comfortable. We eat in hotel both evening meal and breakfast and it was first class. Will certainly be back when in Liverpool.

Beds so comfy and fab big TV in room. Location is spot on Liverpool 1 on doorstep and lots of quality restaurants to choose from! Hotel bar is so relaxing with a super ambience !

I booked online and the website said I'd pay at the hotel. All fine so far. During online check-in I completed the card pre-authorisation online, which reserved credit. All fine. On arrival, the staff took payment for the room, but didn't credit it to my account, and then I was charged again. On checkout I queried this, reception resolved the problem, but were insistent that it was my fault as I shouldn't have paid reception on arrival. Please ensure that your staff are properly trained to understand your processes, and make sure that they do not ask for payment from people who have completed pre-authorisation. And then train your staff to understand that it's the hotel's mistake if I've been billed twice. Ok, I've got a refund for the incorrect billing, but that should never have happened in the first place. But the hotel was comfortable, warm, and clean.

Lovely hotel in a great location and we were able to check in early as our room was available. Good breakfast with plenty of choice and relaxing bar area. No problems booking time in the pool however, very few lockers available as the majority were damaged or had no doors. The only downside was the noise from the aircon units on the roof outside our window (room 221) which was constant throughout our stay.

My stay involved checking in on New Year’s Day a busy bank holiday and I have had to extend my stay on two occasions due to matters way outside my control. I have been treated with utmost respect and courtesy on each extension and thanks to Dora (“the explorer” self-styled) have been able to quietly enjoy the comfort of the same well equipped room throughout, for which I am truly thankful..

Check in was good, was well informed about breakfast at this time. The room was lovely and clean everything we needed. The only problem I had was you had to book for the pool, which I was never informed about when booking online. I overheard a few guest at check in mention this too.

This is our second time staying at this hotel and it doesn’t disappoint. We love coming here with our son he loves using the pool. And his favourite thing is the breakfast. We will be coming back again for the next half term.

Perfect location for Liverpool central train station/main L1 bus station. Shopping and restaurants again perfect location as is walking distance for attractions. Staff very friendly and accommodating on arrival. Booked through Accor account app and requests on my booking were acknowledged. Felt personal as staff had noticed it was a family booking and discussed this with us and welcomed our children. Pool very busy, already fully booked on arrival for both days of our stay so that was a down side as unsure how you are supposed to book before arrival unless you put it on as a request? We did however manage to get a slot for half an hour later on in the days as there was a no show to a timeslot. Room was nice however main problem was no telephone in the rooms or usual hotel information that you expect. We tried several times to contact hotel through an automated service on our mobiles to no avail as we needed help with something. Went to reception and was told currently no phones are in bedrooms but no reason to why which we found odd and again during the night when we needed something it made it quite difficult. We are curious to know why this is as felt quite uneasy not having any line of communication.

We have replaced the physical in the room by an available WhattsApp phone number shared in every lift of the hotel. That new measure was implemented from Head Office and should have been implemented in every Accor Hotel. Nevertheless, regarding the number of comments we have on that point, we will certainly go against our HO, in order to satisfy our guest.
