It's supposed to be deducted directly or change the date from the system The rate is about double as I booked the wrong one Toilet was unclean and smelly. I don't feel satisfied with the rate I paid vs the service. Breakfast also all menu empty

Hey travellers, Just wanted to share my recent stay at Ibis Semarang Simpang Lima—overall it was pretty good, and I’d happily recommend it with a couple of small notes.The positives: Reception staff were great—super friendly, helpful, and genuinely went out of their way when I asked questions about the hotel and the area (even the security guys were really nice and approachable). Location is spot-on—convenient for getting around Semarang, easy access to everything. Room was comfy and nice overall—good bed, clean space, felt relaxing to unwind in. Facilities in general are solid for the price. A few little things that stood out (and could be easily fixed): The spare pillow (pillowcases) looked a bit dirty, which made my eyes feel a bit uneasy. The tea/coffee cup was cracked. The kettle had some visible dirt buildup. No smart TV (which is surprising for an Ibis these days), and the TV itself felt quite small for the room size. Hope this honest feedback helps motivate the team at Ibis Semarang Simpang Lima to keep improving—they’re already doing a lot right, and with these small tweaks it could easily be one of the best options in the area.Thanks for a mostly enjoyable stay!
