I have an overall pleasant stay in Novotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Some improvement can be made in the room interior as the furniture seem old and need treatment. The HPL surface is loosing and bed corner posed danger to small kids as the wood chip seem sharp. Also perhaps the staff need to be more aware with the space traveler program. Guests should received explanation upon check in about the program. The receptionist didn't explain about the program and what did that include in our stay. We arrive at our room receiving a note card stating the gift for the kid but we have to call to receptionist to remind them that the gift is not found in the room. The lady respond that they need time to prepare the gift since they are tailored based on the child name, but around 10 minute later, someone came and deliver the goodie bag that we think did not need any specific preparation as no kid name displayed in the bag. No pin as mentioned in the note and we didn't bother to explore the program. I hope that Novotel will increase awareness to the staff regarding the program they have. But the staff are trained well in hospitality. Thank you.

If stay Semarang, this Novotel Hotel is recomemded, strategies, price and budget is save with environment in-out hotel is clean.. One more think, the furniture is using update furniture than last 2 months visited..

No the best stay

Unfortunately, on this occasion, I was not impressed with this Novotel. The rooms are now very old looking and therefore appear as if they are dirty. The food was ok but for some reason the hotel has a problem with their Alcohol licence and therefore were unable to serve any Alcoholic drinks. This was not informed to me before arrival. For an international branded hotel this is ridiculous. The Breakfast Buffet is very good, and the room sizes are also good.
