Stayed several times but this time is the worst, room are not clean, broken cupboard, AC not cold, no face towel, flat pillow with yellowish cover and the worst is breakfast time, only 3 persons to serve, stall are bot attended, flat taste, not many varieties, they serve” bubur cina” with no taste, did they tasted before serving? Where is the F&B supervisor? Big room is the only plus other are not a usual novotel standard n services

A Novotel imposter, with my 1st ever Accor room downgrade

Staff were all extremely polite and helpful throughout my stay, thank you. But the hotel, sadly not. It is in desperate need of renovation or rebranding to a formula 1. My 1st floor room 120 was appalling. The bathroom dated and grubby. The towels both thin and grey and the bed sheet a similar tone of grey. I understand the hotel was built in 2006 and that some of the floors have possibly been renovated since. If true, I certainly wasn't offered one. Breakfast is not geared to western travellers. The tables are at best given a quick wipe, and no cutlery, napkins, or condiments await you. My eggs went cold while staff searched for 10 minutes to find me a knife. By contrast my stay with Ibis styles in Jakarta, while not without a few short comings, was def a superior experience. I choose to stay with Accor through reciprocal loyalty and my expectation of consistency like McDonals.. Def the worst of my Accor experiences! I urge Accor HQ visit and reassess this property for it's fit with the Novotel brand.
