Nice Hotel BUT!!

The hotel is really nice and the staff are plesant. BUT it is very dated and need a good cleanup. We stayed in a villa 6022 which was lovely and peaceful. The pool was clean and warm on very hot day. The living room over looking the pool was where we spent time as it was cool and relaxing. The bathroom was large and clean but needs updating. Check in was so slow and our villa wasn't ready, which was a surprise as it seemed it hadn't been used in awhile. Had lunch in the restaurant while we waited which was good but expensive. Was given 3 different menus which was confusing. Again the staff were lovely. Breakfast is a free for all and just looks a mess. The staff dont have a clue. Western food mmm cornflakes coco pops boiled sausage and fried egg. Not a great selection. If you love Chinese food go for it but use your elbows to get anything. The hotel has teamed up with a company to book trips amd cars who in my opinion are next to useless. Chocolate fireguard comes to mind. The beach is walking distance and is plesant with activists to do. It can be busy. Would I stay here again, maybe as they cant get any worse. 4 star hotel 2 star staff with regards to doing their job. 5 stars for staff friendliness.

This hotel is old and not taken care of. The rooms were very old and stuffy. There were 2 cockroaches in our room. The room arrangement was strange and not convenient due to were the closet was located

The hotel needs some serious TLC, everywhere you go from entrance to pools some and most things are not operational. In the rooms so many things are just falling apart and the gardens are not kept well. I was really disappointed. The service on the most part was good. Soda bar was not good and a request to the staff felt like I was giving them so much work and could see they didn't want to do their job. We were fortunate to stay in a villa with our own pool and that was the saving grace. The cleaning staff was amazing there and so friendly so thank you to cleaning stuff Mrs黑(黑阿姨) The assistant manager Mike was very helpful and kind as well as the restaurant manager Gerry they truly went above and beyond to help. Now the beach situation is really a walk to get to as you need to go through the adjacent Marriot hotel to get there but the ocean there is really beautiful. This is not a resort I will likely recommend or stay at again. Best to choose the other Pullman in Sanya Bay which we've stayed at twice previously. As Accor platinum members we always use the website to check for lounges as it's a great perk and it stated the hotel does have one which it doesn't. The dinner buffet was at least good but pricy.
