MrVertigo TripAdvisor review

Okay location near city walls but outside of the centre. Reception welcoming. Carpark not so good but most hotels have limited parking - there is a large public car park nearby. Room ok, slightly small and comfy bed. The really annoying thing was the extractor fan in the bathroom doesn’t turn off so there was a constant noise all night disrupting sleep. Over all 2/3 stars.

We needed somewhere that would accommodate three adults in one room, lovely large room 4 beds, it didn't disappoint. We had faulty TV staff were so helpful and switched our room. Nice and warm good facilities, bar and well stocked breakfast. I would stay again.

Clean and welcoming. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was perfect. Local to shops etc. Walking shoes and a warm coat and hat needed.

Great location - only 15 minute walk to centre and some lovely shops/pubs to visit on the way. The 2 ladies on duty were very friendly and helpful - Esme and Elena - from checking us in, sorting out our tv and then serving at the bar. Plenty of choice at breakfast and everything was hot and kept topped up. Our room was very comfortable - the bed especially - and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Parking can be an issue due to the size of the car park but we were informed of a nearby alternative. Luckily we didn't need it as a space became available - all down to luck.
