ibis budget Birmingham Airport - NEC 2 stars

Room 1 had requested an accessible room not accessible and unbearablely 31 degrees no cooling system working. We promptly allocated a second room Room 2 an accessible room, perfect apart from it had not been cleaned. Bed had been slept in and bathroom had dirty wet towels all over the floor. Room3 cooling system worked but not accessible but stayed there as there were no more accessible rooms

When your flight is 6:00 am, the location of this hotel is perfect and quiet.

Good location, economical, value for money

The hotel has everything needed for a quick stop over and at a great price. The staff were especially helpful. Would definitely book again.

Really enjoyed and appreciated the staff at hotel. Could have been more helpful. From arrival to keeping our bags. Breakfast was lovely too.

Friendly staff, hotel and room is clean and good value for money. Is not the first time I've stay with this hotel and standard have not been drop. Happy.

the location is amazing (100% recommend especially if you have an early flight). the staff was nice, the breakfast was good so the quality-price proportion means that i’ll recommend it to everyone and probably come back for more

Given the Covid virus, the hotel did very well. Breakfast was not up to its usual standards but why should it be? The catering team still managed the home made Yoghurt, fruit salad and guacamole. Excellent! Staff were polite and pleasant as ever!

Arrived back from holiday early in morning. Staff were brilliant especially Kamal.

We arrived late after a tiring day travelling from abroad. At check in we were told that due to Corona virus there would be no cooked breakfast (ordered and paid for). We were told to collect a prepacked continental breakfast from the dining room the following morning to eat in the room (no chairs). In the room there were no tea and coffee making facilities. These were available on Floor 1. We were on Floor 6. The room itself was basic - not carpeted. There was no distinct bathroom. There was a separate lavatory, a small shower cubicle and a hand basin in the bedroom itself. Breakfast next morning consisted of two croissant and a bun, with Nutella and Marmite and a rather aged apple. On the positive side, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the towels were fluffy. My son stayed on the same night at the Radisson Blu hotel at Stansted airport. He had a large comfortable room with a full English breakfast for only £12 more.

Did not realise it was budget at the price I paid you cant say it was cheap and cheerful how ever it was clean but that's all you can say

After a 14 hour flight our stay at the IBIS budget Birmingham was excellent. Very low price as we only needed a bed for the night before our short flight back home to Spain the next morning. Thought it would be noisy in the rooms as the bar area was packed, with a really nice atmosphere, but didn't hear a sound Would stay here again but bring an adapter as no usb port and we had all ours in the cases checked in at twilight

Have stayed in these Hotels before, but now there are limited facilities in the rooms, no tea and coffee making facilities, also had a room opposite the Train Line, the Windows do not close properly and there are no curtains so the noise was annoying and kept us awake. Will not use this version of the hotel again, will have to pay more and stay away from Budget IBIS
