Situated at Birmingham International Airport, this modern hotel is just a minute's walk from the Airport Terminal. Ibis Budget Birmingham Airport is also just 2-minute shuttle ride from NEC, Resorts World, Genting Arena and BHX train station (Airport SkyRail shuttle). The hotel has 120 modern guest rooms, each with an en-suite shower, air cooling and a flat screen TV. All rooms are non-smoking. Please note that the hotel does not have its own car park. The hot water in the shower was tepid at best. Room was in need of some care with loose furniture edging and damaged laminate. Floor needed cleaning as rather grubby and dusty around bed. Budget rooms are very small along poor presentation and functionality was more like a cheap hostel. Staff uninterested in the evening to address or acknowledge issues, in the morning no one around and long queue of people at reception. I have used this hotel regularly pre 2020 however would not stay again as it misses the basics. Accor should get on top of this hotel.
