We chose Novotel Salerno for our trip to explore the area as it was located very conveniently to Salerno centre, Amalfi coast, southern more relaxed beaches and its easy access at any time of day. The room was clean, although not maintained to a high std as it needs some works. The staff was polite, helpful and welcoming. When we go again in that area, we'll likely choose it again for our stay

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room (junior suite) we stayed in has lots of wear & tear (eg. the shower gel and shampoo dispenser was only stuck on the wall with tape and kept coming loose and dropped), and the air conditioner has a leaking problem so the closet was flooded, but thankfully the problem only occurred on our last night at the hotel. and we have reported the problem to the front desk.

Well located, 5 minutes walk to restaurants and supermarket, about 10 to train station. Accessible to Salerno Concordia so it’s the best alternative to Amalfi hotels if you don’t mind travelling via ferry vs 500euro per night in Amalfi flooded with tourism. Clean room, relatively clean property. Only negative is it deviated from Novotel standards where water fountain and in-room espresso machine is missing. For an Italian hotel, an espresso machine missing and a bar without a dedicated bartender is sparse and underwhelming. Paid for early check in but the room was not ready. Friendly staff, good service.

We had a very good stay and honestly, it's far from Salerno city but if you have a rental car, it's less than 10mins drive and wonderful hotel to stay. Very good staff and helpful and good breakfast with a nice swimming pool. Overall, very convenient and a good place to stay.

Very helpful staff that gave me a reduced daily rate to stay longer since husband is in hospital. It’s a day to day situation. We are hopeful that by mid week he might be released. Your staff has been very accommodating considering we are vacationing from Canada. Great caring and understanding staff. Thank you so so much. Hotel was nice and staff were very friendly. I liked the location. Pool area was very nice, but there could be sunbeds on shadow too. Beds were too hard for me. Moving around was difficult because bussis didn't go often and sceduels wasn't right or busses were late. A lot. But that is not your fault. Overall stay was pleasant.

It was a comfortable stay. Staff is nice and took care of us. We made Salerno our base for exploring Campania. Since we had a rental car, we could get to ferry terminal for exploring Amalfi coast, Capri, and Pompeii. Without a car it would not have been easy since hotel is far from old town and not very close to ferry terminal.

The room was in a completely unacceptable state of hygiene and maintenance for a property of this category, poor general cleanliness of the room, black mold (fungus) in the bathroom; obvious lack of maintenance. These conditions are not only below expected standards, but also potentially harmful to the health of guests. I'm still waiting for a response from the management regarding my complaint.

The only really good element, is the car park. The location is poor for anything. The hotel wasn't overly clean (we had multiple dirty towels). The staff although friendly, are unhelpful. The pool looked absolutely filthy, although it wasn't in use at the time The hotel is a heat trap, so when the air conditioning isn't in use (like for us in March), the room was a steady 25 degrees Celsius. Which, for us is far too hot. The air conditioning was set to heating, and it felt like many rooms had this on heavily, the hotel was that hot. I normally book Accor hotels first and foremost. In this case we intentionally picked a poor location as we wanted to stay with Accor. It was a huge regret.
