This is our second time staying at this location, two years ago new year's eve we had a very good experience that is why we came back. We picked this hotel again for two reasons, we had a good stay the first time and because this hotel has the best view of the port of Naples, the castle across from it and it is a minute walk literally from the center of the city however this second time I am disappointed because the room they placed us is directly behind the elevator and the emergency exit stairs(this room is new I think as this isn't on the elevator directory) in our room we can hear the flushing of the toilet of the unit above us (it is very loud, at one point I thought the water will come crashing down in our room, I kid you not) and we can hear footsteps of people coming up and down the stairs and the elevator going up and down. The room also has this smell (don't know what it is, if it is new paint or just the cleaning solution they use to clean rooms) it is TOO STRONG, we had to pry open our window to air out the room. The receptionist also has an attitude, the server at their dining area are more friendly and courteous than the one who greeted us upon check in. They should put the servers at the dining area to work at the front desk as they made us more welcome than the ones at the front desk. The servers were all smile, greeted us, very helpful and so welcoming. The front desk receptionist acted like she owns the hotel and we are lucky to be given an opportunity to stay the night, that is how she made us feel. For the money we paid for one night new year's eve (which is a LOT), we had the MOST uncomfortable stay! We are very, very disappointed this second time around.

Despite the hotel's website saying it has king size beds they are not the same as the dimensions on the Accor website. More of a queen size and very firm. The first room we were given was over the road and so noisy with car horns and sirens all night, it was impossible to sleep even with ear plugs in. The second room on following nights was much quieter. The ventilation system does not work unless you are heating so their was not fresh air.
