Old facilities, all the street noise is coming through the old windows, heating system old and not working well, shower was malfunctioning, hair dryer was not working. Overall an old building that is in desperate need of renovation.

Upon arrival (I'm a very old client), at the reception, they immediately ask me documents and credit card. And they immediately take from credit card the full amount for my stay (not a pre-authorization), including city tax (this is incorrect since if I'm not completing the expected stay, I can be required to pay the hotel but I don't need to pay city tax). Anyway, with payment done and completed, I ask for my Hotel receipt and they reply that receipt will be gave only at departure and on such date. Since my office only accept receipt and credit card expenses on the same date, I point out that since they took out money from the credit card, receipt to be on the same date. They start to present various justification also saying that the amount taken was only a "deposit" while the entire amount was taken and the possibility to make a pre-authorization on the credit card is well known and used worldwide. At the end receipt received on the date of arrival. Room assigned: it was a room for disable people and I only discover when entering, without any advice at the reception, neither the possibility to understand if other rooms are available or the hotel is full. Furthermore, after a long discussion to the reception, it wasn't easy to come back to discuss again. Room at first floor wasn't well soundproofed from outside and with a restaurant in from, wasn't easy to slept. Hair dryer wasn't working well (only cold air) and another one received by the reception. The sink stopper weren't possible to completely open with always some water (and later foam) remaining on the bottom. The breakfast it was wonderful as usual and with an incomparable view. In conclusion, I don't think to come back to this hotel. It was really a bad choose (based on previous experiences) for a four stars in Naples and for the high prize payed, compared with low service quality received.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast and the incomparable view, which is one of the highlights of our hotel. Thank you again for sharing your feedback. Excellent hotel: (1) spacious (bath)room, (2) very friendly staff, (3) good room cleaning service and (4) perfect location for exploring Naples. Just a 2 min walk to the Municipio metro station (linea 1 to piazza Garibaldi or to Museo and Mater dei). Also 2 min to the Medina bus stop. Only a 5 min walk from the Alibus final stop. A 7 min walk to the royal palace or Via Toledo and Spanish quarters. And a 15 to 20 min walk to the old city center. It couldn’t be easier !
