A taste of Novotel.

While the overall stay was good, the experience at front desk was not good at all from a compliance of instructions by client perspective. While checking in I was told that all expenses shall be taken care by the company and I got it confirmed too. But while checking out early morning around 3 AM I was categorically asked to pay for the food items I consumed and without which I was not allowed to go. When I told them it shall be paid by the company, I was again told that there is no such instructions and checking in was done wrongly by their colleague. There was no way I could see what instructions he was reading out as the checking in person was clear that all expenses were to be paid by the company. After I paid and checked out I confirmed from my office that indeed the food charges were to be paid by the company. Now I don’t know why this was done to me unless the company is wrong or your hotel is wrong. Either way I paid the charges without hurting your overall business prospect but it left a bad taste in my mouth due to this unnnecessary confusion. Thought I shall put it here for your information.
