The hotel is very old and has been very poorly maintained. The air-con is also very weak so even in springtime the rooms are uncomfortably hot by early morning. This is absolutely not Sofitel standard.

The room was just so ugly and old and the carpets were disgusting… this hotel is in a desperate need of renovation. I really don’t see this being Sofitel at all. The price is good and the staff was nice but my god, I was afraid to touch anything in the room because of how old and dirty it looked.

The staff here are amazing! A huge shout-out to Sally at the front desk for her excellent service. However, the elevators were a bit slow and made some strange noises. Also, even though it was cool outside, our room was uncomfortably hot (around 25°C). Guest services told us the temperature couldn't be lowered, and while they suggested opening the small window and gave us a fan, we still couldn't get a good night's sleep.
