Stayed here for one night with my son when over for cricket at Old Trafford. Located right opposite a handy tram station. Our twin room was compact but it is a budget hotel and room was functional. Shower worked well and room was surprisingly quiet.

ok, so you can't do anything about the noise at the front of the hotel - but it is very noisy with traffic and trams (and police cars). I did though have someone come into my room at 7am - they knocked on the door and when I didn't reply (I was half asleep) they came in. They left as soon as I called out. Then at 9ish, the housekeeper also knocked on the door. I was very late the night before, so really didn't need two disturbances. The booking said checkout by midday - so I'd like to think I wouldn't be disturbed. I did mention this to reception on my way out and he apologied, but didn't ask anything else about it.

Awful treatment from reception staff. I would not recommend to anyone from my company or that I know of to stay at this hotel. The male receptionist on 17/09/24 was rude and sarcastic when I asked for an assisted room. I booked a standard room based on the facilities shown on ACCOR's website. I needed a shower not attached to the wall which was basic in your double rooms but when I check in and went upstairs I saw that was not the case. I went downstairs to ask for another room or an assisted room and your receptionist went into one trying to explain the unexplainable. He said there is no disability without a card to prove it. But I asked him how about a medical condition and he then said he cannot change rooms as he would be accountable for the change. After an ifs and buts session he changed the room and I was moved to an assisted room in the end whose showroom stunk of soil.

I paid for the car park on leaving the hotel in February 2024, I have sent the hotel evidence of this payment. The hotel took £10.00 from my account in March 2024, since then I have been asking for a refund. The hotel does not reply!! I have sent countless emails and tried ringing -they ignore my communication!
