I had a very pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Basic but nothing was needed so all in all a good hotel.

I had a pleasant stay even though the tv didn’t work and the duvet was I credibly thin, the heating also didn’t work but I’m a simple man and could sleep on a brick wall next to a train line.

Heating in the room wasn’t working The room was dusty and dirty towels were dirty didn’t smell fresh. only one lift was working. Generator was noisy all through the night. The breakfast was very bad indeed - it was a joke

I’ve stayed here for work twice now, and after comparing it with the Copthorne across the road... I cannot rate this highly enough. The place was SPOTLESSLY clean which is obviously really important at tho moment, well priced and the staff were so helpful and friendly Massively surprised how much better this place is as it’s a 2 star and the copthorne is 4 star.. will be staying again

I usually enjoy the IBIS experience but was disappointed this time. The hotel's heating was broken, which is understandable. However I would have liked to be notifed before my check in so I could have attempted to find alternative accommodation. A heater was provided but it was too loud to keep on during the night and sleep. So it was either too cold to sleep or too noisy and would possibly have missed my alarm.

Greatly disappointing, 1) having to pay for parking, 2) no heating, 3) surprisingly small bedroom, 4) TV not working, no connection, then no sound,

I stayed for 9 nights whilst working in Salford Quays. Was told on arrival that the heating wasn't working and wouldn't be working for my whole stay. Not ideal on the coldest week of the year.

Terrible. My room room was grubby and has no heating. To top it off I found blood on the floor, had to move room and spent an hour outside due to a fire alarm. Not the best experience with my 8 year old son the night before a funeral. I would have changed hotels were it not late in the evening. The staff were apologetic and tried to help as much as they could. But overall I did not feel comfortable staying any longer than I had to.

I Was handed an electric heater on check in. The whole hotel was freezing, had an awful nights sleep and left as early as I possibly could. I would not recommend nor will I be returning. Ever.

Hotel was immaculately clean, staff were great. However, the heating wasn't working, and it was -2 degrees outside! They did tell me at reception, and gave me a heater, but the heater didn't heat the room. The duvet was wafer thin too, so I had 2 very cold nights!!

Like an ice hotel at the south pole

Appalling.... I had booked my stay online many days beforehand and had specified that I would arrive after 11 pm. Upon arrival and after the receptionist had completed the paperwork and taken my payment, he informed me that the heating in the hotel was not working and then proceeded to reach underneath his desk and presented me with a pathetic electric heater. Due to the lateness of the hour I had no choice but to stay in the room which was as cold as ice because the temperature outside that night was -2°. After a completely sleepless night shivering in my cold damp bed and unable to use the heater as it was so noisy and of course unsafe To leave on during the night, I returned to reception the next morning and complained and was eventually offered a full refund. Why oh why does accor hotels Not inform potential guests about this problem at the hotel at the point of booking? I now know (Having spoken to colleagues who have also stayed there recently) that the heating at that particular hotel, Manchester Salford Quays, has been broken for some time so it seems unbelievable that guests cannot be Informed about it as they are booking. I am an Accor hotels club member and I will do my utmost in future to use their establishments as little as possible. Kevin b.

I found myself in Manchester at a moment's notice to support a family member in bereavement. Having my dog along, I was happy to be welcomed to Ibis Budget Salford Quays. The staff were lovely, the room was basic but comfortable and although the heating was broken, I was provided with a portable heater. All the necessary Covid safety measures were in place and I felt safe. I would stay again for sure.
