We were going the Victoria Warehouse to see Kaleo and needed somewhere to stay for for one night. Ibis Budget hotel was a perfect fit. A basic room but it was clean and had all that you need for one night. The staff on reception were very polite and helpful. On other people's reviews I had read that parking can be an issue and it proved to be the case for us too as there were no spaces available. The car park is owned by a private company not the Ibis Hotel, but the man who was managing the car park heard that we need to get off quickly yo see the show stepped in helped us out, and found us somewhere to leave our car. Breakfast the next morning was basic but very nice, we filled our boots so to speak and spent the day looking around The Quays as we had paid for 24 hours if parking at the hotel. Overall I couldn't fault the hotel, it did the job perfectly........just be aware of the parking can be a problem.

Staff were lovely, reception was really nice, then it went downhill. Room was dirty, cobwebs on the ceiling, toilet hadmt been cleaned, skirting boards covered in dust, bin hadn't been emptied, room smelt a little like drains. We were on the 6th floor (618), there's supposed to be a security chain on the window to stop it opening fully, unfortunately, although the chain was there, it wasn't attached to anything so the window swung all the way open. Just a downright safety hazard and I'm sure the council wouldn't be happy that you think this was acceptable. In addition to this, the air cooling system didn't even turn on so we had to sleep with the window wide open amd listen to traffic all night as the heat was unbearable. I love Accor and ibis hotels, but I'll never stay in one again after staying here!

Extremely small and unclean. We left and booked with the Marriot hotel next door, which cost us an extra £200, but I'd have paid it twice over rather than stay a night in this place.
