It's a budget hotel close to the T2 domestic terminal, and it definitely serves its purpose. Small, very basic, but clean room with a comfortable bed. They apparently have an airport shuttle for $12 but it's an easy 10 minutes walk to T2 which is all I wanted.

The IBIS Budget is very much an okay hotel. The beds were comfortable; room looked like it had casual wear and tears - unfortunately our television didn’t work but staff offered to resolve this quickly and promptly. I’d say the Hotel is Good but not ‘Very Good’ nor ‘Excellent’ but it served its purpose.

Twice I requested an email invoice and a printed copy. Both times I was refused due to 'a system that did not work'! Front of house staff struggled to be honest. I do not know why there is are televisions in the room. On both occasions the tv did not work.

Worse service, emailed 4 times regarding shuttle...no reply.. asked for directions at desk and he couldn't give me the time of day. Definitely budget, however not budget prices!... fridge is so loud you can't sleep. Booked the shuttle and was told to wait for the next bus after the time it was booked for... wouldn't stay again

Room was basic, but met my needs for an overnight stay. Easy walk to domestic terminal. Rather than alight city train at Mascot, next time I would alight at airport, and walk back to Ibis hotel. Bed was comfortable, room very quiet.
