We had the pleasure of staying for two nights at Mercure Millau, with a room on the 8th floor with a balcony and view of the viaduct. All the staff we encountered were very welcoming and they were happy to provide us with recommendations for eating out. We could recommend the aligot at Le Ligot. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are a good size, and the amenities in the room, including the linens, are the quality one would expect from a Mercure. But overall the hotel is tired and not up to Mercure standards. There is no proper reception area. The rooms are worn and in need of refurbishment. Overall it feels more like a posh Ibis than a Mercure.

We enjoyed our stay. However, I got up at 6:20am to have a shower and the water was cold. We had to share but for the price we paid we were a little disappointed. The breakfast was great.

Our stay was mixe. The location is excellent and both of our Privilege Rooms offered stunning 180° views over the Millau Viaduct and the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was enjoyable, and we appreciated receiving our welcome drinks. However, the hotel itself feels very dated. Although the rooms have been renovated, they appear to have been refurbished many years ago and the building is clearly showing its age. More importantly, the air conditioning in one of our rooms was not working properly and leaked water onto our suitcase. I reported the issue to reception, but no effective action was taken during our stay. As an ALL Platinum member, I was also surprised to be initially told that late check-out would cost €20 per room before the receptionist later acknowledged that it was complimentary. Staff should be more familiar with the programme benefits. Finally, €17 for overnight parking felt excessive. With its exceptional location and views, this hotel has great potential, but it would benefit from refurbishment, better maintenance and more consistent recognition of ALL loyalty benefits.

Difficult to locate with car. Made two complete circles through town centre before arriving. Reception - excellent and very helpful. Design led room was a shock with its industrial ambience, particularly the floor carpet on arrival, but quickly recognised it was not a bad as its first appearance. Did not appreciate the small espresso cups for coffee. Biggest issue however was the bedding - very uncomfortable seersucker type fabric with heavy duvet. Plain woven sheets would have been far better. Your designer has not really considered guest comfort it seems! We slept eventually through sheer exhaustion - sadly not the best experience. Breakfast was generally good with a good offering. Appreciated the secure parking but not the 17euro fee - this should have appeared on the booking form. With respect this is rural France not downtown Los Angeles or central London

The room was a disappointment for a Mercure. Space where there should have been an easy chair. Uncomfortable bedding sheets and pillows. And no coffee machine. Just a kettle, paper cups and instant coffee sachets. Not appropriate at this price point and for a Mercure.

Perfectly located. Local tourist sites & restaurants all within easy walking distance. Staff very friendly & helpful, especially Simon with whom we had most contact. Comfortable room with terrace overlooking the Viaduct. We enjoyed the convenience of the bar which also did hot snacks. Breakfast good, although perhaps a little pricey. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay at the Mercure, when visiting the lively town of Millau!

We liked the large size of the room and the view from the spacious balcony. The bathroom was tacky and, along with the rest of the hotel, needs renovating to a much better standard. The staff were friendly and courteous.

15 voitures attentent pour 10 places ! Difficile d"entrer et de ressortir du parking. Décors vieillot ! Un ascenseur sur deux fonctionne correctement. Personnel sur place pas vraiment agréable et pas a leur travail: Pas de lait au petit déjeuner, dosettes pas rechargées dans les machines a café etc .... Serveuses austères, pas de sourire Sensations désagréables de déranger ! Hôtel a éviter !
