The room, bathroom, mattress and bed-linen were all excellent. The service very good, the (few) employees always attentive. The hotel itself a bit strange: one cannot access the garage from the hotel but have to go 50 metres down the street while an employee waits at reception until you arrive at the garage and then opens the doors for you. Annoying if you have several smaller but heavy pieces of luggage.

We stopped here on our way home from Spain as our usual choice - the Ibis Budget in Millau- was fully booked. We booked the highest priced room with a balcony. It wasn’t worth it. The room was big but there was a lack of attention to detail. We had to ask for a television remote control which wasn’t delivered for over 40 minutes. When we contacted them again. The staff were busy. We had to park our car on the church car park - even though the hotel has its own secure car park. There was one tiny bin in the bathroom but no bin bag. I thought we were paying for a higher level of luxury. We weren’t.

This Ibis is well located near the centre of Millau with its own car park. The refurbished rooms are excellent - spacious and comfortable. The only improvement I would suggest is to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was slightly disappointing compared to other IBIS hotels we’ve stayed in recently. For example there were only 2 choices of cereal - no muesli or granola.

Wij bleken een kamer te hebben gekregen die in verbinding stond met de kamer ernaast waar ook mensen verbleven. De tussendeur kon langs onze kant niet op slot. Toen het personeel kwam kijken en constateerde dat dit effectief het geval was, zeiden zij dat de mensen uit de andere kamer waarschijnlijk niet bij ons zouden binnenkomen. Ik vind deze oplossing beneden alle peil : geen respect voor onze privacy noch die V. de andere mensen, wat als er uit een V. de kamers iets weg was? Wij hebben aangedrongen op een andere kamer die we ook gekregen hebben. Mij lijkt dat uw personeel erop gewezen moet worden dat dit niet kan. Ik kan immers niet geloven dat dit de normale procedure is.
