The staff was helpful. But service staffs need more training, they seem to be overwhelmed. Should invest in a new iron and ironing board that you pass to the customer, the one I received is of a very poor condition, it even trip the MCB when I used it. Despite it all not entirely a bad experience. I have been to worst. But not the Novotel standard I expect.

The hotel has a large number of irons available for our customers and all of them should be in good condition to guarantee a good service. We are sorry that it was not the case. I can assure you that we have just carried out an exhaustive review of all of them, removing as electrical waste those that are not in perfect condition and buying new ones. Allow me to express my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. Concerning the staff, we accept interns studying tourism and hospitality for this reason, they indeed need more or less training according to the time they started the internship. Only stayed one night but easy to get into town and lovely to be able to relax on the rooftop bar and pool afterwards !

The air conditioning was not working, the reception was informed but nothing happened. Window had to be oped at night and it was not possible to fall asleep till the concerts outside were over. No other room was suggested. Usually Accor members get at least welcome bottle of water on arrival. Only bar drinks were available for fee late on arrival evening. This is my last accommodation at Accor in Spain.

When such a problem is reported to the reception, the maintenance team is informed and intervenes to solve the issue as soon as possible. We can assure you that this problem has been solved. We are sorry we didn´t manage to repair it during your stay. Regarding the noises from a nearby party, we are really sorry, we always want the best rest for our guests. In this case, we can only contact the relevant authorities as we did. In our commitment with the planet we are progressively quitting plastics but as your room was a family room and sometimes families prefer plastic/cardboard cups for their children this type of room has not ceramic cups. However I inform you that the superior rooms have ceramic cups. Despite all, we hope you enjoyed the city of Barcelona. We hope to welcome you again and offer you an excellent stay with us.
