The staff was helpful. But service staffs need more training, they seem to be overwhelmed. Should invest in a new iron and ironing board that you pass to the customer, the one I received is of a very poor condition, it even trip the MCB when I used it. Despite it all not entirely a bad experience. I have been to worst. But not the Novotel standard I expect.

The hotel has a large number of irons available for our customers and all of them should be in good condition to guarantee a good service. We are sorry that it was not the case. I can assure you that we have just carried out an exhaustive review of all of them, removing as electrical waste those that are not in perfect condition and buying new ones. Allow me to express my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. Concerning the staff, we accept interns studying tourism and hospitality for this reason, they indeed need more or less training according to the time they started the internship. Only stayed one night but easy to get into town and lovely to be able to relax on the rooftop bar and pool afterwards !

The air conditioning was not working, the reception was informed but nothing happened. Window had to be oped at night and it was not possible to fall asleep till the concerts outside were over. No other room was suggested. Usually Accor members get at least welcome bottle of water on arrival. Only bar drinks were available for fee late on arrival evening. This is my last accommodation at Accor in Spain.

When such a problem is reported to the reception, the maintenance team is informed and intervenes to solve the issue as soon as possible. We can assure you that this problem has been solved. We are sorry we didn´t manage to repair it during your stay. Regarding the noises from a nearby party, we are really sorry, we always want the best rest for our guests. In this case, we can only contact the relevant authorities as we did. In our commitment with the planet we are progressively quitting plastics but as your room was a family room and sometimes families prefer plastic/cardboard cups for their children this type of room has not ceramic cups. However I inform you that the superior rooms have ceramic cups. Despite all, we hope you enjoyed the city of Barcelona. We hope to welcome you again and offer you an excellent stay with us. Great Hotel but the staff and management could be more friendly and better

The staff at the counter wasn't very friendly and supportiv. They did the job but that's it. I wrote an email to the Hotel Management according to other issues and I did not get any answer, whichis not astonishing. The prices of the Hitel for the same time, same room varies a lot. That's not fair. The water at the pool is freezing cold and the prices for a room and drinks and cocktails are way too high.

Given a room next to the lift Shaft so could hear lifts all the time. No view from room. Pool was cold and dirty and hot tub wasn't hot!! Overall not very impressed

We would like to apologize for the inconvenience due to the room allocated to you. Obviously, the staff at the reception has made efforts to find you the better room based on availability. However, at this period of the year, we are fully booked most of the time therefore choices were scarce. To reduce waiting time we prepare room number 1206, next to the lifts. We are sorry for the inconveniences caused and for not offering the well-deserved rest that we should have offered. We have only an external pool on the terrace not heated, as usually in Barcelona, due to the warm weather. Nonetheless, we will pay more attention to the cleaning of the area since it appeared dirty when you went and this doesn´t abide by the standards of our hotel. Facilities unimpressive. Rooms small with updates needed. Service automated, average at best. Only satisfactory thing was the food at the breakfast buffet.

Very positive experience. Room was great and staff were helpful. The cleaners could do with improvement as they left trash in the bin and didn’t take dirty plates one day. But regardless, superb experience.

I have stayed in this hotel many times before and I have never been disappointed since the staff are particularly good and the location is perfect as well as the good breakfast they provide. I would really like to thank the staff at the front desk for their friendliness, kindness, and help. A special thanks to Victoria, Mauro, and Renata who all did their best to make my stay confortable by upgrading my room to a nice suite and helping me to use my rewards vouchers at check out, they were very professional and friendly. Therefore, I will definitely stay here again, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

I was lucky to be placed in a room on the 16th floor with a beautiful view of the Barcelona city line. This is however where the positives end. At my arrival, I found the bathroom towels slightly damp smelling of either food or previous guests. With some towels having light brown spot marks. Dreadful. The room itself looked very worn out and outdated. The decor left an uneasy feeling during my stay, especially in post covid travel. The cleaning service missed one cleaning, and the 19th floor pool looked and smelled like it hasn’t been cleaned for guests arrival.

a few things dropped the rating. we had ordered a fruit basket for the room. it was not in the room. the extra bed had not been made. we arrived at the hotel late and had to point out several times that extra bed. complimentary water would also have been a good addition but it was not in the room. the location was good.

Even you are member of Accor fidelity program with high level (Platinium), the staff really don't care of you: no warm welcome, room was a disaster (no view at all, face to another building a few meters only). Moreover, my room was near the elevators, so very noisy. Anyway, due to high occupancy of the hotel / holidays period - the staff really don't care of you. Very very disappointed by this hotel

Near the metro station Glorias. There is nothing particularly special about the hotel. Our room at water heat problems in the sense that the showers would nearly burn you and then would freeze you within 5 seconds without adjusting the temperature. Other than that, the hotel functioned as a good base to explore, close enough to walk to La Sagrada Familia in just around 1 mile.

We had bad experience about breakfast and poor response from team - there were no beans when arrived for breakfast asked team and Chef to refill beans ( waited for 20 min ) after reminders chef filled beans which were taken from freezer -I realised beans are very cold once I had taken in my plate above bread and eggs - when I complained to breakfast team they just ignored me ,then went to chef to heat them he took 10 min to respond to me and took my plate - I kept on waiting for my plate to arrive after heating for 30 min ! Chef meanwhile heated beans kept for other guests after accepting his mistake but asked me to take fresh plate as he has thrown my plate in bin - I tried to ask team and manager for help but nobody was ready to listen to me - later on one tall lady at breakfast counter who told me she is manager and understand English told me explain issue ,when I started her explaining cold bean served and my plate thrown by chef - she started speaking to chef in Spanish instead of listening to me and after 5 min told me speak to manager as she is not manager ! Her real manager Anne arrived and asked me to repeat issue again and accepted her team is wrong and chef has served beans cold by mistake but cannot help about my plate thrown by chef ! Horrible experience of chef and fake manager and nobody tried to offer solution - my family felt whole day is ruined because of breakfast issue

The hotel is in a great spot, with good access to the metro and hop on and off city tour buses. We used both, during our visit. The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was buffet style and had lots to choose from. There is a shopping centre with some good shops and resteraunts across the road from the hotel. Which is so nice when you want to get away from the busy tourist hotspots.
