We had 5 wonderful days at this wonderful hotel. The O tram delivered us almost door to door from the Hauptbahnhof. We also had many transport options within a few minutes walk of the hotel so that it was easy to get anywhere in Vienna. We had a market and a great variety of shops at the end of the quiet, cobbled laneway where the reception is located. Breakfasts were generous and nutritious and we ate excellent meals at both the hotels restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for the multilingual staff who helped us out with many things. The hotel is not new but has many gorgeous period features and has been very well maintained. There is a pretty, shady garden with a terrace where we enjoyed breakfast when the weather was good. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Vienna.

Calm and great stay. The personnel was friendly and helpful, from the reception to the breakfast and restaurant room. The room was well equipped and comfortable and very calm. Bed a bit too hard for me but good overall. Due to the location of the hotel outside of the main road, my stay was extremely calm, with no noises. Things to improve: at the breakfast, gluten-free offer extremely limited, vegan and vegetarian offer also currently limited, and food allergy markings are non existent; in the room, a place to put personal things on: outside of one table and one chair and the wardrobe, no other cupboard or low stool was available, which forced me to put some of my things and the bed cover on the floor. Same remark in the bathroom, where a small foldable stool would go a long way to help with modular personal things like glasses, etc., esp. when taking a bath,

When I first entered the room, I found that the sink was clogged, but I saw your colleague in the hallway, I showed her the problem, and when I returned in the evening - the problem was fixed.

It was extremely hot in the room and instead of AC they had heat on . The room was very small and dated. When you open the window it was very noise until past midnight and the 6:00 construction start under my window with the jack hammer was not helping.

Location was best, a small Austrian cobble stone alley to the hotel, close to public transportation. Room did not meet expectations, old tired furniture and carpet, broken coffee machine and water piping meeting standards of third world countries.
