Andreaa D Couples - TripAdvisor review

I rely on Sofitel to have an excellent level of service and Bangkok Sofitel is definitely wonderful. Of note was Khaow in the members lounge. We were both exhausted from a big day travelling and she was not only attentive and fun but she really improved our day. Thank you Khaow.

Best Hotel ever stayed in.

Fifth time staying at Sofitel within 10 months, the hotel is extremely comfortable and the staff such as Pete, Tui, Natty, boy, Tony, crazy Kevin, Tee, Tow and Tim are so helpful, always smiling. Not to mention the front disk supervisor Mira who always assist in my reservation, making it easy and welcoming with her beautiful smile. The coffee shop is always a pleasant to set, relax and have you daily Macchiato’s which is the best in Bangkok. I have booked my next visit and will be there by October, can not wait to meet this beautiful family of Sofitel. Thank you everyone for making my stay so comfortable and relaxing. Regards to all management for such a performance.

Awesome experience and this hotel will be my first choice in Bangkok

I’ve an excellent experience during the evening cocktails in Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, Club Lounge. A staff called Khaow delivered a great introduction of the hotel and provide valuable recommendations about our travel plan. She is so nice and we’re appreciated for her sharing.

Love it

Food is great quality with amazing service! Staffs are very friendly. I was meeting a friend from out of country and the facilities are very comfortable. The location is convenient, easy to find and commute around. Thank you Khaow, Sindy, Macky, Nok and Lemon! <3

WhereToGoh Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

This was my second stay at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit. My first? A two-year-old disaster so memorable that I gleefully handed them a 1-star review on TripAdvisor. It was that bad – I swore I’d never return. But, as they say, time heals all wounds (or at least renovates all hotels), and I’m happy to report that Sofitel Bangkok has had quite the glow-up. Gone are the questionable design choices and tacky wallpaper that once haunted my dreams. Now, you’re greeted by a sophisticated lobby that whispers, “We’re better now,” and rooms that actually look like they belong in a premium hotel. Originally, I booked a Luxury Room, but thanks to my Accor Platinum status, I was upgraded to a Magnifique Room. The room’s new palette of baby blue and beige oozes serenity, and the bed linen? Pure bliss. It’s the kind of bed that makes you question if you really need to go outside at all. Club Millesime, the executive lounge, is located on level 3. While it won’t win any interior design awards, the service is exceptional. A special shoutout to Khun Khaow, whose boundless cheer during cocktail hours could brighten anyone’s day. If only she could fix Bangkok traffic… Speaking of things that haven’t changed, Viola Restaurant still feels like it’s stuck in a time loop. The breakfast selection is decent, but nothing that’ll have you rushing out of bed. If I had to nitpick – and I do – the bathroom could use a bit more love. The shower cubicle had some moldy vibes going on around the drain, which isn’t exactly the ‘luxury’ vibe I was expecting from a newly renovated room. Ah, Sukhumvit – the rush hour apocalypse remains alive and well. But don’t worry, the BTS is your savior, and if you’re new to Bangkok, the “nighttime entertainment” outside the hotel is sure to be… an eye-opener. Overall, I’m glad to see Sofitel Bangkok has redeemed itself. Let’s hope they keep the facelift fresh and the mold at bay!
