Pros: The location was central that it was walkable to sites 15 mins to Checkpoint Charlie, 20-25mins to Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag. Also Anhalter Banhof station is only 5 mins walk if heading to further destinations. Staff are also friendly and efficient in doing their jobs. Buffet breakfast had great variety of items. Cons: The room needs attention, ours had a wood panel came off the closet and fell on me, didn't deter us. Would be beneficial if there are more power points and an in room safety deposit box.

The hotel Is very close to public transport (2-3 min to S lines) and close to major sights (Topography of terror and Checkpoint Charlie are 5-10 min walking distance). It is not fancy, but very neat and clean, and rooms have everything for basic needs. People at the reception were really nice and guided us all the time, answered questions and showed us where and how to get what we need.

high speed internet should be standard for a hotel probably counting on a lot of business travelers. Sink in bathroom had a bad smell, probably mold. The entire bathroom felt artificial
