A few hiccups concerning room cleaning (amenities, small bath cloths and coffee capsules not being restocked), bruised fruit just left to decay, no new glasses, and very limited supply of new water bottles, bed linen left with a blod stain on pillow. No big problem, but really not a 5* experience.

We had a truly memorable stay at Sofitel Marrakech, with many small touches that made the experience stand out. A special thank you to the wonderful staff who made our visit so enjoyable. Bouchra provided a lovely spa experience, while Noureddine at the pool bar was always smiling and attentive. Ilham, the bar manager, was incredibly welcoming and even remembered our son’s name, which made a real difference. Azzeddine from customer relations went above and beyond, resolving a room issue promptly, arranging a late check-out, and supporting us during a delayed flight to ensure our comfort. Lastly the persons who cleaned our room were super attentive, always arranging the bed and our pyjamas, including our baby :) The hotel also paid close attention to details. We mentioned it was my husband’s birthday, and they surprised us with a cake and a beautiful room arrangement, truly above expectations. The private transfer service was flawless, 10 out of 10, and room service was impeccable, with fast delivery and excellent presentation. Breakfast was absolutely magical, well beyond the ordinary, so many choices, gourmet croissants, freshly made juices... The playroom was also a real highlight for us, as it was essential for our 1-year-old and made our stay much more comfortable. There are just a few areas worth addressing. It’s a shame that the warmest pool is not accessible to all guests. It would be great if another pool could match that temperature so everyone can enjoy it. Additionally, while the spa treatments such as the hammam and massage were excellent, the hair service did not meet expectations. The package offered did not match what was delivered, and the setup felt disconnected from the hotel’s overall quality (was supposed to get the full hair treatment, massage, oil, treatment.. got a basic was and blow dry) Overall, the hotel offers a beautiful experience with warm, attentive service, many pools, wonderful staff! Besides that, the location of the hotel is amazing! Safe, clean, close to the major spots. Cannot wait to return.
