Me and my partner had the best time here, even got upgraded to an executive room from a lovely member of staff, rooms were lovely and clean and the pool and sauna was amazing.

This hotel was a good price and a lovely stay. Been to Edinburgh 6+ times but this was the first time I’ve not been woken up in the night by revellers! Will be staying again.

The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable albeit on the firm side. Even the sofa bed was fairly comfortable for our children. The room was spacious enough for a family of four. The Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the pool, whilst small, was a welcome extra. I would recommend renting the robes for £5 each or bringing your own as the changing space was extremely limited and not very private at all. The bar was nice (and food) but very expensive. There is a small pizza van over the road and they do brilliant pizzas which you can sit and eat in the lobby - highly recommend this. One of our main issues was that the air conditioning wasn't working and that heating was controlled centrally. We like to sleep in the cool and had one incredibly uncomfortable night. After that we opened the windows overnight which was better but we did have to contend with the noise from the road which wasn't ideal. Also, the TV signal was terrible. They have a few basic channels but even these are not always watchable. I did bring my fire stick but the plug for this was inaccessible at the back of the TV so couldn't use it. There was no smart TV option. The toilet and bathroom were separate which we got used to but wasn't ideal if you wanted to wash your hands and someone was in the bathroom. Otherwise, facilities were good with an iron, hair dryer and kettle in the room. The mini fridge only works to keep drinks slightly cool. Do not rely on it to keep things like milk fresh. Overall, we were happy with our hotel choice - just a few things would have improved the stay.

Well located and staff were friendly. Communal areas were nice. The room was warm and air system seemed ineffective so not a great nights sleep.

Hotel was lovely and spacious on arrival friendly check in, the pool was small and crowded at busy times , the breakfast was cold and burnt and went early as not too busy ,very helpful staff
