Lovely staff on reception, rooms great. However, I was fed up again, not the first time at a French Mercure, that the loyalty drinks on arrival for Accor Members was not extended to the second person in the room. The policy clearly states this should be the case, however bar staff refused, and stated that they had been told this by senior management. It feels cheap and shoddy during what should be a positive experience

Very attentive and helpful communication before and after arrival. Easy access with great secure parking beside hotel. Lovely spacious rooms which were well appointed. Very comfortable bed and an extensive breakfast buffet. Easy walk into town center.

Disappointed as on Sunday we were charged twice for our stay . When contacted the hotel on the Sunday was told We had to prove it by sending a copy of our bank statement . Sent these and did not receive any response that we asked for . Phoned again Monday and hotel accounts agreed that we were charged twice . They checked they had our card details and they would reimburse the over payment . It’s now Wednesday and the money has not gone into our account. Still waiting

The room was claen. Staff were friendly and the outdoor seating area was very comfortable. I thought the breakfast was a little over priced if one just wanted continental breakfast
