Lovely staff and very clean hotel and room. Me and my partner only stayed for the 1 night and the experience was lovely. Breakfast was really good compared to some other novotels we have been to. Our room was on the sixth floor on the far end and we absolutely loved that.

Really friendly staff, breakfast was excellent, but separate toilet and bathroom could do with a bit of cheering up, quite dismal and when in the shower over the bath the water gathered making it quite slippy, the washbasin was very big wirh tap so far away having a wash was backtracking. The back of any plugs beside the beds was very odd.

Me and my partner booked for a night away. I saw a lot of just eat and deliveroo bikes outside the hotel. I asked the hotel staff wow is this hotel open to the public? As there is quite Afew of these bikes outside. The man on reception said no they are student bikes. I wasn’t convinced. There was a man that came into the lift with a massive bump on his head he didn’t look right. We checked online and found out the home office uses this hotel. We past another heading to the Suna and steam room. Both the booking agent and hotel didn’t inform us that Asylum seekers get temporary accommodation at this hotel. It would have been useful as we can have the choice to stay there or not. I wouldn’t recommend young ladies or vulnerable people to stay at this hotel.

As we have three exceptionally large student accommodations next door it is common to see lots of bikes being stored around the streets as Glasgow encourages active travel. There are an additional three student accommodation blocks being built on the adjacent street that will open up for next term. Regarding your inquiry about the hotel’s operations, we can confirm that we are committed to maintaining a welcoming environment for all our guests. While we do not typically discuss our operational partnerships, we can assure you that there is no Home Office arrangement at this property.
