tried to check in at 14.45 as had a reservation for 15.15 and then subsequent reservations, rooms were not ready ( people in front of me checked in) waited until 15.00. still not ready so had to leave for reservation, therefore couldn't check in until 10pm so didn't use free drinks as gold member , also asked for a birthday message to be placed in my daughters room , this wasn't done. considering i stay in one of your hotels numerous times a year i certainly didnt feel like a valued customer

The rate seemed very high - on check-in I queried the rate and after 3 separate staff members telling me there was no problem, finally a manger noted that they had added my deposit to the total amount due, not deducted it, so a difference of over £400. Our room was not serviced during our stay, and we ran out of toilet paper so asked for a new one - this never arrived (we had 2 rooms, so borrowed TP from the other room. I was initially told that I would have to pay £10 per hour for late check out (even though this is one of my All benefits). After challenging it, the fee was waived. The "orange juice" at breakfast is an overly-sweetened liquid that has never met any citrus fruit.

Having stayed in many Novotel and Sofotel hotels around the world, this one was showing its age. Worn rooms in need of a refresh. No air conditioning. Damaged bathroom facilities.

Very good! Got this hotel for cheap and was very impressed! Clean, comfy beds and polite staff! There was 2 fans in the room which was very helpful as it was very hot in Glasgow. Can’t complain about anything!
