Temperature in the room was quite high, lowering temperature at heating/airco did not work. There is too much traffic noise for opening a window at nights.

We are very sorry to hear that the temperature in the room was too high and could not be improved despite adjustments. We understand that the traffic noise from the main road can also be annoying when the window is open. For future stays, we would be happy to recommend one of our Superior or Executive rooms on the quiet courtyard side. There, the windows can be opened without any problems and the sleeping conditions are much more pleasant. I had stayed in Novotel and other Accor hotels and always happy with the services. But this time i was surprised to see that there is no water provided in the room and it was not told to us before. We were supposed to carry our own bottle and refill it. So after coming from long journey if we could not get basic necessities like water then it is highly regretted. Since we all were very tired from the long journey I decided to use my silver membership facility to get a water bottle as welcome drink. I was told by receptionist to get the water from the bar. I was waiting and waiting near the bar only to be ignored for 15 minutes or so. After that the lady told that she can’t give water bottle as welcome drink. This was end of my patience. Thankfully the receptionist helped and i got water bottle for my kids with rude gesture from the same lady. My sincere advice to Novotel is that please let us know before hand if you are not giving basic facilities like water. Thank you

Especially when arriving after a long journey, it is completely understandable that missing necessities like drinking water can lead to frustration — all the more so when you were not aware of this beforehand. This year, we introduced our refill water station as part of our sustainability efforts and to offer guests unlimited, complimentary access to water at any time. While many guests appreciate this approach, we truly regret that it did not feel convenient for you and your family. Your feedback helps us better understand how we can communicate this more clearly in the future. We are also very sorry for the situation you experienced at the bar. This does not reflect the level of service we aim to provide, and we have shared your comments with the team to ensure this is addressed appropriately. It is especially unfortunate that this happened during a moment when you simply needed quick support for your children. We hope that despite this disappointing experience, you might give us the opportunity on a future visit to show you the level of comfort and service you normally expect from Novotel.
