Unfortunately when I arrived the lift was not working and won’t be until next year. Not a problem for me as I was on the first floor but something to be aware of. I arrived early, before check in time, but they kindly found me a room that was ready. The window didn’t seal very well so I had the sound of the wind whistling through (it was VERY windy) but earplugs solved that problem. The carpets could do with a wash but generally they were ok. The bed was very comfortable and the room was not too hot. Nice shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good and relatively cheap. All in all I would stay here again. Good location.

I stayed at the Ibis Leicester City on Sat 29th November 2025 for the first and last time. On my arrival I find out that the only lift was broken and will remain broken untill January 2026. No communication was sent prior to my stay as I may have been inclined to look elsewhere. The room was basic as expected but there was what appeared to be blood stained on the carpet. The air conditioning/heating did not work. The TV did not work as the coax cable had been ripped out the back of TV (Room next door had the same issue). The safety latch on the window was broken and was a safety risk. The morning after when I went down to breakfast at 9:50 I was greeted by the receptionist that said " not much left but help yourself" when I complained I was told that breakfast ended at 10am but stated 11am on my booking. I was refunded breakfast but then had the inconvenience of having to go elsewhere. I emailed All Accor with this feedback last week but have yet to receive a reply. Is this really the standard that I should expect of Ibis ?

Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Little concerned that we were not advised in advance that the lift was not working and had not been for some time and was not being fixed for some time as my colleague has an ankle issue and struggles to walk - however at reception and after some negociation she managed to get him a room on the 1st floor. Rooms are clean, parking is good. My only little niggle is that I left a shirt in my room, i called the following day to see if it had been handed in and if it could be sent to me (at my cost) and never had a reply

Absolutely lovely staff. Made you feel so at home. Clean and well maintained rooms. We tried the breakfast too which had a good selection (both hot and continental buffet).

Nice clean room, welcoming staff. Good breakfast. Good location. The only downside was the lift being out of action however, we were informed about this before our arrival.
