Only 1 lift operating for 12 floors meant long waits for a lift. Your solution was to post signs to use the stairs. As an exit door to the stairs was close to our room we endured it slamming so hard right through the night that it actually shook our room. Auto check in did not work meaning a long wait to check in. After asking 4 times we eventually had our room serviced on day 5. The shower leaked on to the bathroom floor. The house phone worked intermittently with the wall connection only held with tape. I am a member of Accor and have stayed at many of your properties properties and all have been excellent, this was not.

Marketed as a 4 star Mercure branded hotel but the hotel is closer to a 3 star budget hotel. Rooms are extremely dated and the furniture are broken. Requested a replacement chair which took 2 days to replace. 1 lift was not working the entire stay and from other comment on Google, it seems as if the lift has been broken for months now. Very poor experience for a Mercure branded hotel. Breakfast was really basic. As an Accor platinum member, there was no effort to offer a room upgrade on check in.

I booked in for one night and upon arrival asked to book in for the following night. I was charged $8 more than the first night, which can happen. I asked if that was the members rate and was assured it was. Upon returning to my room and checking the site I found the non-member rate was the same as the previous day and the same rate I was charged for the second day. The stay was great and the location was great. The only issue was that one of the lifts wasn't working, so there were long queues for the lift. I really liked using the stairs, so please make this available all the time. The automated checkout was also great.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is in a great spot. Easy access to shops. Reasonable parking rates. I booked two rooms, one for myself and one for a friend and we were placed on the same floor, a few rooms down from each other, which we appreciated. The only problem I found was my bathroom had a dirty/mouldy water smell but my friends room didn't.

The room was insanely small and very dated. The bathroom tiny. The noise in the room from a combination of anyone in the hall or next room, to the ding ding of the trams outside and street noise to the workman who appeared to be trying to changing the air-con ducting.

Great location only let down was one of the elevators was being maintained so only one in operation so bit of a pain during busy periods given we where on the top floor. Hot water was abit all over the place too which meant showers where a game of burn or freeze depending on what it felt like doing.

Firstly, I'd asked for the room to be left at 15C and they said all they could go to was 16C. A) that's just not good enough and I don't care for sustainability measure at the sacrifice of guest comfort. B) I walked into the room with the thermostat at 18C and couldn't go lower. It makes for an uncomfortable stay. We pay good money to the Explorer+ program and hope that loyalty is returned with simple request fulfilled. Secondly, there was one concierge for rush time on a Friday afternoon on the weekend of an AFL final (one of the biggest weekends in Melbourne), and the same on the next morning at checkout. With only one elevator working, it took me 35 minutes to go from level 5 to reception. I wasn't able to take the stairs because of an injured ankle. So poor.
