Very close to the main station. The toilet seat hinges and surrounding it had faeces stains, this is disgusting and I will not stay here again because of it. Breakfast was ok but for a Mercure hotel choice was limited. For exacmple no scrambled egg or bacon, the only hot food I could see was a boiled egg.

App says there is parking, there is no parking or directions on how to get to the hotel (you can’t drive to the entrance) - the signage on the building is misleading. Was left waiting by rude young staff member, there was no fridge in my room to use, there was no ice in the bar (I got 6 ice cubes and that was all they had in the whole hotel) - air conditioning isn’t powerful enough to cool room sufficiently and I needed to ask for a fan. Tbh the experience was WILD

Decent hotel for one night. Location pretty much right in center, so that’s unbeatable. Room was okay and clean, but pretty outdated. No fridge, no powerplugs anywhere near the bed, shower in the bath. Airconditioning wasn’t too powerful, but the additional fan was a good en very welcome add-on. As for the small letters: the city of Dortmund asks for a 7,5% city tax on top of what ever Accor says you have to pay.
