Tucked into a quiet corner with a grassy outlook, Hotel Ibis was a good location for an overnight stay. Very peaceful. Our room was comfortable and except for the pillows being a little on the hard side, the bed was comfy to sleep in. Breakfast was okay. Nothing special but plenty of it. The dining area is contemporary and the windows overlook the green outside. Staff were helpful. A nice atmosphere and didn't feel to be in the city at all. We didn't use the discounted car parking as even with the discount, it was very expensive so we found parking elsewhere for a fraction of the price. My advice on that would be shop around. There are plenty of carparks dotted around the city that don't charge a small mortgage to park there. Ours was £5.79 for 24 hrs. I would definitely stay at Hotel Ibis again if I ever needed overnight accommodation.

Easy check in. Special rate for nearby secure car park. Only disappointment is that the bar had no sugar free Coke/Pepsi, but that was a minor hitch
