Check in was smooth. But a few niggles which dampened the overall experience: Room temperature was way too hot and I had to ask someone to check the temperature. When I tried to order room service through the phone (which is as described in the menu) I was told to use the app. Not worth the price.

Your comments regarding complimentary water are also well noted—especially given the high temperatures—and this feedback has been shared with our management team for review. I’M. also sorry for the frustration you experienced when attempting to order room service. While we do encourage use of the QR Code for efficiency, the process should be clear, seamless, and convenient for all guests, and I regret that this was not the case for you. We truly appreciate your honest comments regarding value and expectations of a four-star hotel. Great hotel, staff. Very clean. Other guests impacted our overall experience. Guests in a room above us woke us at 3.30am screaming, drinking and carrying on their balcony until early morning.would not pay for a premium balcony room again for this reason.

The Novotel is a great spot to attend events at Sydney Olympic park. This hotel could do with an upgrade though for the cost. The whole hotel is hot (the outside temps were only 24-26 degrees. The foyer, rooms, and bathrooms are all humid despite air conditioning set to 20 degrees. The bathroom was very musty. Friendly staff and a great breakfast were positives.

We had tickets to the United Cup tennis and chose to stay in Sydney after the event as it ended quite late. The Novotel hotel is conveniently located to the tennis centre, comfortable and the staff were very friendly.
