This was my second stay at the Ibis. My first stay was perfectly suited to me as I need an early (10am) check-in and I'm checking out around 5pm the same day. I am only there for sleep, just sleep. My first stay was very quiet, but it was also on the top floor and further away from reception. My more recent stay was on ground level and just a short distance from reception, metres from chatter, vending machines, and the laundry. A fellow came to service a vending machine when I was only 30mins into my sleep and the noise sounded like a bunch of massive rats digging around in the wall near my head, he was so noisy! I stuck my head out the door to remind him that some of us here were trying to sleep, but his attitude was not accommodating to me. Next, after the machine man, was someone directly above me dragging what sounded like a chair across the floor...... constantly, then someone in a room neighbouring mine decided to play loud music. Overall, I was there for around 7hrs. I slept for about one hour. .....then I had to drive back to Brisbane. None of this reflects on the staff, I found them on both occasions to be extremely helpful and accommodating to my needs, and I will be back, but if you're wanting a better chance of peace and quiet I recommend requesting a room on a higher level and further from the reception.

Avoid Accord Hotels altogether as they accept bookings from fraudulent booking agents

This hotel accepts bookings from fraudulent booking sites that imitate them and then charge exorbitant additional fees and charges. The sites look exactly like the Ibis Wentworthville site, even using the hotel name in their email address. However, the quoted price, although similar to the legitimate site, has fictitious fees and charges added, which are charged to your credit card. You cannot cancel the booking or even email them, as their emails just bounce back. Ibis (Accor) are obviously aware of this practice and knowingly accept bookings from these frauds and know their customers are being ripped off. They make no attempt to take any sort of legal action against these fraudsters to prevent them from using their name. Accord will not refund me the overcharge or any other form of compensation. My advice is to avoid Accord (or Ibis) hotels altogether as you cannot be guaranteed the booking website is legitimate and that you aren't getting scammed.

the staff was helpful the beds very soft bit unconfortable powerpoint above a handwashing basin not very safe .It is strange that have to pay for parking .The hotel is located in a very busy intersection there is no way anyone carpark anywhere there so you must pay for your parking .I was charge 2 different price for a same room , Saturday was more expensive on the website was not indicated couldn't understand why but I had no time to argue . I don't know if I would return to IBIS again .

We are still the cheapest around the market for the parking as other hotels do charge over $35. Our prices remains cheap unless you book in advance during events day as well. In Sydney there are back to back concerts going on over the weekend that's why its getting more expensive.
