Ok for a Paris hotel near train station

The room was clean although very small. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed clean and comfortable. The location is great for those travelling by train from / to Gare de l'Est. The only problem was noise from the street which neither the closed windows nor the drawn down shutters could eliminate. Bring some ear plugs if you are like me sensitive to noise at night. I could only fall asleep after 3-4am when shouting and banging sounds in the street outside subsided.

It was ok but the accessible room was small, there were no tactile markings on the floor of the shower, no shower curtain, the top mattress protector kept slipping off the bed! The lift is - small, barely able to accommodate a powerchair & is situated in the most inaccessible place- behind a pillar on the ground floor and needing immediate turns on other floors.

Well located but below average breakfast

Reception staff were friendly. I had my water bottle filled many times and was given the use of a fan. I slept well most of the time. Breakfast was not really getting up for. Scrambled egg was unappetising and I couldn’t eat the sausages as they were not gluten free.

ok stay but annoying start

Once in the room found we found that the tv didn't work, there were no hand towels and the shower gel dispenser was almost empty. There was no welcome card in the room to contact the reception, so I had to go down and report these issues. I asked did we have tea/coffee facilities and was told there was none, but we could pay for a tea or coffee in the reception. Not pleased with this. I was then handed the towels (which were actually thin floor mats), shower gel and given a replacement remote. The TV still didn't work so had to back down and ask the receptionist to come up and sort the TV problem which he did. It seems that the previous guest pulled the HMDI cable out from the wall mount. I asked for the reception direct tel number and was given it. Not a great start - these are not big things but needed to be addresed before we checked-in, hence the low score. Breakfast on day 1 was terrible, over run with a large group and only 1 person trying her best to do 3 people's job. The other days were much better as the big group had left. The rest of the stay was ok.
