The breakfast is much overpriced. For 26 Euro, what’s offered was just similar to Holiday Inn express. The scrambled eggs were too salty to eat. Very bad breakfast experience.

Watch out with the parking

Room and services was not wow, it was as expected for a 4 star hotel. Our main complaint is due to the over payment we did on the garage due to the special arrangements you have on parking. There was a mistake done by hotel personnel and later after paying (to leave the parking) there was no compensation attempt o a satisfactory answer to our complaint. We will probably won't come back

Short review: Price-quality (compared to other similar hotels and in terms of base rate) is really bad. Dated hotel that needs renovation. Management that seems to cut costs (no default cleaning, not scheduling enough personnel at busy times, barely any loyalty recognition,...). Overpriced breakfast. Location decent once the works on the bridge will be finished (end 2027??) Long review: Check in was decent, but when asked about loyalty recognition, I was told they don't do that for long (it was 4 nights) stays. There were rooms available at that time. We'll, all good. Only thing we actually miss is the coffee in the morning so we could get over that. We go up with the lift and first thing when we leave we start smelling an old hospital smell. Luckily our room didn't have this smell. The room was quite hot though so we tried the aircon, but even on max power it didn't cool the room at all. Room is quite dated but seemed clean overall. Then the weird smells started coming in through the vents (different smells from eggs through sewer) and when we tried showering we were burnt and then frozen within a few seconds (the water temperature is far from stable) Then there is the strange rule that you need to call for cleaning the day before, which is bizarre, as normally I would decide in the morning whether I want to hang the "no cleaning needed" sign, for example if I sweated a lot. For a 4 star hotel they should default to cleaning except when the guest actively asks not to. This is just a stupid rule to save money but trying to act ecological. One of the nights we went for drinks in the bar. We sat 45 minutes without being served, because they decided to only schedule one waiter on what seemed to be a busy night. And the waiter did prefer serving the people at the bar over going out in the room to check who hadn't had a drink yet. (I don't mind having to order at the bar, but then put a sign somewhere that this is what we should do to get served) Finally we decided to take breakfast on the last night. 26 euros per person is far too expensive. Even though most of the ingredients seemed quite fresh, I feel the buffet was too limited.

Booking was complicated and many mistakes were made by your team until it was finally correct!! Unusual and complicated to get ones room cleaned - not experienced in such manner anywhere else - and I travel a lot (almost 900 hotes)
