Noises from the corridor could be heard quite clearly; the doors aren’t soundproof. Bed was a little bit to hard. The air unit was very load.

Very disappointed, full of dust under the bed that triggered sneezing and coughing, bad smell in the room, AC noisy and very hard to adjust. Around the toilet seat was dirty as well. There is a parking is in same building of the hotel that does not belong to mercure which is ok . But I reached the hotel at midnight and found myself stuck at -3 in the parking , tried to ring as mentioned to have the door opened to get access to the hotel with no success. I had to find my way to go out and to call the receptionist to get the door opened. Was very stressful. Breakfast was ok. This hotel definitely doesn't deserve the 4 stars and is very overpriced. I will not recommend it to anyone.

Checkin took a long time. Inexperienced person in charge. Clear lack of proper training. No English communication skills at all. During our 2-day stay we had some simple questions and she was not able to understand at all and even if she was it didn't seem like she would have been able to solve anything. We saw two other couples being very annoyed as well due to lack of understanding.

The river view rooms only offer a partial river view, this is disappointing as in all the information online it is never described as it is in reality. Practical car park and system for discounted parking. Towels really below standard expected of the Mercure chain. Very unfortunate that the Rhine promenade was inaccessible and this should have been notified in advance. The housekeeping service not being daily is acceptable from a sustainability perspective but if you then run out of consumables like the coffee, these should be available. One day we phoned down for some more and were told to visit reception, then reception didn’t have any but they suggested we phone down in the morning, then we phoned for some more in the morning and it took 2 hours for them to be delivered. This is a system that doesn’t provide a good customer experience.

Good modern hotel, easy 12 to 15 minute walk from the railway station and similar to the old town. I had a bright spacious room with a view of the river. The reception and bar staff that I interacted with were lovely and tolerant of my limited German. I declined on the breakfast: I don't think I could eat €26 worth of food every morning. (I spent €9 at Netto for 3 days breakfast supplies!) My only complaint was that the TV signal was poor with the sound, picture or both cutting out every 5 or 10 minutes or so...oh and there was a yellow rubber duck but no bath-tub to play with it in.

Overall a great place to stay if you visit Koblenz area for 2-3 nights. We have enjoyed the breakfast, only not happy that for teo day the coffeemachine was broken. Don’t offer only filter coffee then, but let guest order their coffee at the bar where the coffee machine was working. A nice cappuchino at my breakfast, I really like and missed it now 2 out if the 3 mornings as there was only filter coffee available. We have loved the 2 free drinks per person every day, as we had 28C outside and really needed to drink a lot. But also that you choose a little bottle of wine or prosecco. The parking procedure can be better explained by the hotel on forehand and I would highly recommend to make a flyer with pictures on how to pay of your parking ticket as hotel guest. I did make a mistake and paid €40 instead of €26 and the hotel just said “ sorry, we can’t do anything about this, the garage is not ours”… But we had a lovely three days and were happy with the airco in the room.

Just outside the citycenter, but within easyreach by foot. The room light and comfortable and very comfortable bed. The restaurant was closed on a sunday night, but the person at the reception kindly guided us to available places in the city-center. Next evening we had a good dinner in the bar. A great help that there is an elevator from the underground parking to the lounge.
